Well usaid was proven to be full of crap and corruption, the military the same and education will be the same.
As they say the truth hurts and they are not dismantling it. They are finding the corruption and stopping it, including destroying the woke alphabet dross that is drilled into babies. As I said having a horse doesn’t make an opinion more valid !

How and when was USAID so proven? I think you are just parroting the assertions of Musk and Trump. There is always the danger in every aid program of the unscrupulous siphoning off funds however hard you try to manage things. That though does nothing to undermine the good that they do and the relationships they build. The sudden stopping of these programmes will cost lives and ruin hard won trust, allowing adversaries to step in and milk the consequences.

The idea that you need to stop “babies” being taught a “woke” agenda is pure hyperbole. It’s nonsense. Nothing but political posturing for effect. The world has moved forward in its recognition of the need for respect for otherness and disadvantage. That a few noisy latter day Luddites try to resist progress won’t change that. The positives outwaying the negatives doesn’t mean it should be left as it is. I’m pretty sure the positives are noted and that will be resumed. The negatives will be stopped. This is a small term pain for a bigger gain.

USAID literally funded 70,000 for a "diversity" concert in Ireland. And a ridiculous drag show somewhere else.

I can get behind cuts like this. I'm sure the American taxpayer wouldn't be happy funding ridiculous things like this around the world.

I'm glad American money isn't wasted for getting humanitarian aid to war zones devastated by American weapons and looking after the injured. Or assisting areas hit by famine

Or places where terrorists have used said aid for years building tunnels and buying weapons for use against the counties giving the aid. Not trying to help their own people who needed the aid and food !

Eliminating waste is a daily task. Something a scalpel is useful for and not a sledgehammer. Many vital programmes have been thrown into disarray and dedicated people out of work.

This isn’t short term pain for bigger gain for those impacted. It’s just a popularise political stunt bereft of compassion. It will backfire on the USA.

Revising and reviewing the programmes is the responsibility of auditors. Who will know far better than us what motivated each of them.

Just closing down everything is beyond stupid. It’s a heartless demonstration of selfishness which might make a few rednecks happy but will damage forever the position of the USA.
