You can disbelieve whatever you choose. From my perspective you and the truth have never been close companions. I have no issues at all with truth I dislike. I can accept things to be true that also need to changed.
Having a Press Secretary who was straight with people, even if what they had to say was unpopular with half the country, would go a long way to reestablishing trust in the Presidency, if not the President.
I loathed Thatcherâs policies but I admired her fortitude and honesty. Likewise Sir Bernard Ingham, who was blunt but honest. You knew where you stood and that what was said one day wouldnât be denied the next. You can disagree with someone like Thatcher whilst still admiring them and being led by them. You knew Thatcherâs heart was in the right place and that she genuinely cared. Not so Trump, or his group.
