It was in the World Championship for which there are a limited number of positions open for female players. The only controversy was that she had qualified via the ladies competition and so had taken one of the few places available to them.

Biden used a limited number of executive orders to reverse some of the most stupid decisions by his predecessor. Like pulling out of the Paris climate change accord.

Trump has launched a blitzkreig of attacks on a number of fronts but all intended to disrupt.

Describing Biden’s family that way is ridiculous. One member has been found guilty of firearm and tax offences. Someone known to be a drug user who has suffered significant personal issues.

Is what Trump doing illegal? Time alone will determine that, but it could very well be. Establishing it though, via another impeachment, is next to impossible given the high bar of proof needed and proving it via a court totally impossible given the ruling by the SC.

And yet he isn’t morphing into dictator? Get serious! This ought to concern everyone.

The way Musk worded it, I would do exactly the same as him.
These people are meant to work in accounts, and they have been told it's OK not to have cost codes, or explanations of what monies are for.
These are major and obvious flaws.
I've worked in accounts for UK Local Authorities, and although they seem super-efficient by the USA standards Musk has exposed, there are still massive questions to be asked. Like why it costs £400 to change one lightbulb + accounting/authorising costs would make it nearer £800.
And do you know why no-one whistle-blows in LA accounts. ? because it's a cushy secure number, with lots of add-on perks, and who'd want to lose that ?

The general public would be outraged if they were told what nonsense the Govt actually spends tax money on, never mind Overseas Aid ( sic ), the domestic spend on ridiculous " research " and Arts Council rubbish, never mind the hundreds if not thousands of meaningless NGO's.

Plenty of money there to pay the WFA which was a punitive measure on the elderly who generally don't support Labour

Public money is massively wasted because no one is accountable and they don’t care as it’s not their money. Compare with a private company and the difference is obvious-it’s no surprise to me Musk as a business owner is shocked. The mindset of a life long civil servant is completely opposite to that of a self employed business owner.

Assertion is not evidence.

There are legal ways to audit without threatening the futures of millions and creating havoc in research and welfare programmes.

What Trump and Musk are doing is not audit to save the taxpayers. It’s ideological bs on speed.
