Back to US politics, how many are thinking of investing in a holiday home on the new Gaza Riviera ? Mediterranean beach front homes - gated security provided by US trained ex forces - special tax free status. Sounds too good to be true - all it needs is a Ryanair service from Stanstead or Gatwick.
Or is it just another crack pot announcement from Mr Trump designed to wind up all the wokes?

Nobody would be spitting in your drink or food if you went there would they. And there would be only a negligible terrorist threat. Sounds well worth it.

I have a feeling it's like the tariffs threat. Middle east countries get your s*** in order and figure it out before we come in and take over.

Trump plays chess while everyone else is playing checkers and if it winds up the wokies and libtards along the way it's an added bonus!

Musk's team basically exposing the proof that some of us have known for a long time (thanks to Mike Benz) that USAID was basically a CIA front being used to funnel US taxpayer money into its desires all over the world.

Another 'conspiracy theory' proven.....though anyone who actually believed this wasn't true must have also believed in Santa coming down their non existent chimney.

Many of these routes for this money are extremely controversial to say the least.....and the lack of transparency is obvious.....it's because it shouldn't have been done.

The Costa del Gaza has a ring to it,if Trump is involved it will have decent golf courses,apparently the bunkers are already there with a good supply of sand.

You've literally got the richest man in the world breaking American laws accessing data and cutting funding illegally purely in a drive to get Government spending down so that they can cut taxes and make him even richer.

It's neo-liberalism on steroids by an elite who pretty much bought himself power. I thought this was everything that you are supposed to be against?

Breaking laws? If he's breaking laws then he would be arrested so I regard that as hyperbole.

Your other point that Musk is doing this just to make himself richer......Well, I have to be honest and say I don't think that's his motivation but who knows....Maybe if the left's argument that Musk is evil (an argument I consider ironic) is accurate then there are tax cuts coming down the line for capitalists in America.

You see the difference I have with you on that score, is that unlike you I think that high taxes result in lower tax intakes because the wealth class then invest less and simply move their money, thus you end up with less jobs in the economy.....It's only the aspirational middle class like you who end up paying the high taxes.

The only way you get the wealth class to pay high taxes and keep their money invested in a country is if the society in that country is high trust and great to live in.....Something that....Well, the west hasn't exactly being doing well on since it's been importing the third world for decades now.

But on your oligarchy criticisms....I'd say you're generally correct, but this only seems to have interested the left since they were booted out....and it's somewhat of a double standard isn't it as their donors paid even more than Trump's.....They aren't paying for the fun of it, they want some fruit for their labour.

However it's true, I'd say the problem with donor money being the real shogun and power base behind the major western powers is a real one.

It's not something I'd disagree with you about.....However, that said, what Musk is revealing is that the people who were directing USAID were basically criminals....funding the overthrow of governments and essentially subversive bullying and ideological causes around the world.....None of these people were elected same as Musk....So how are they better exactly?

Sure it helped but nevertheless Harris spent a hell of a lot more on her campaign - it wasn't all about the money. It's an interesting question as to why the billionaires have gone in with Trump. It could be just pragmatism or maybe it's disillusionment with the Democrats.

Very much agreed. You only have to look at where his funding went for the last campaign though. To me he’s the same as a Murdoch that has hitched his money to where the power was going. Not sure there’s any example in our lifetime in any sort of major economy and democracy that has given someone with his money this amount of power within a government.
