I have. Moved on to coping with the impact of 4 more years of Trump.

Then we will move on again because unless he tries, and this time succeeds, more dirty tricks with democracy we will see him out of office and once again become just former President Trump and as as subject to the law as everyone else. There’s nothing to be done for the next four years other than mitigate the implications of some of the stupidity that is being threatened and plan what could follow.

Surely it's more than four years as he'll certainly be a despotic dictator?

He may well try to extend his term but I don’t see it working. He won’t be able to force a change to the constitution and although he has made the Supreme Court deeply conservative they are nevertheless bound by the constitution and would throw out anything in conflict with it.

He is already showing his age. Imagine him in 4 years.

I think it was the people behind him who did. People who know exactly how to manipulate him and control him via his own vanity. Give him the chance to avoid jail and he was quickly on board again.

So he had a better team behind him than Kamala. Seems eminently sensible.
