US Politics

More revelations coming about the China Virus.
They aren’t “revelations” at all.

They ask questions about why some Americans displayed symptoms of respiratory diseases which might, or might not, have been Covid. They reveal nothing and it’s difficult to see how they might, given the time that has elapsed. We don’t know how the virus arose and probably never will.

We just don’t know if this was something China deliberately unleashed, if it escaped from a lab by accident, or was the result of a virus species crossing.

Having suspicions is fine. Concluding they are correct without evidence isn’t.

When discussing Covid-19, Professor Jeffrey Sachs expressed his belief that it 'very likely' originated from a US lab. The US owes China and the world an explanation.

Very informative and and seemingly authoritative. Whilst not being conclusive it does raise an interesting new angle on how the Covid pandemic originated.

Whether, as he says, it ever becomes more than informed speculation is another matter.

I looked into the claims briefly at the time. Some of the research at Wuhan was indeed funded by an organisation Fauci was part of. There were US research funds funding Wuhan's work.
I think the cooperation between the laboratories is an established fact. Which is how research work ought to be done, in my opinion.

Fauci’s involvement and responsibility is quite another matter. He headed NIAID with around 4500 people working under him. I doubt he got involved in deciding where specific research projects would be carried out.

I went through research funding and found that Fauci had signed off on the funding as a director of a research organisation using the Wuhan lab. Amongst several others. But I would agree that I doubt he forensically examined any project funding. Probably his aides or whatever chief researcher/s he funds. However, alternatively, he may have been closely involved - it's impossible for us to know without the testimony of those directly involved. And something tells me the Chinese and US governments will not be telling us anything. Have you looked into what happened to doctors/ scientists/ researchers who spoke out about Wuhan? Have a look into that. I would say it looks fishy (batty) to say the least.

Boeing was quite a shock where a former employee broke rank and said something,...and ended up deaded very soon after. These coincidences of being deaded are relatively rare.

More often than not, those who speak out have their top-level career wiped out, and all their friends from facebook are deleted. It is made very clear to their (former) associates that any communication with them could also seriously destroy their career.

Unrelated but maybe not so much the euro to sterling rate is pretty good at the moment.

It's a good time to exchange to pounds for those abroad coming back for the Wembley game.
