The post match interview was funny uou have to admit “bro, that’s what they pay me to do”Should have got a goal also but got it stolen off him by Noni , heading it in before it crossed the line .
Just watched it there on SSN TC had a word with him about it he didnt look too happy about it .The post match interview was funny uou have to admit “bro, that’s what they pay me to do”
Was a great match for TC - I am pleased for him - and miss him already! Good luck TC.
It was interesting to see him play there. He’s technically very good and clearly can play on either side. If Guehi goes in the summer he’d be an asset with Lacroix in the centre, Richards able to play right, Riad left, and Chalobah either side, we’d be pretty sound for options at the back.Yes he played very well, he looked more comfortable last night on the left side of the back 3 rather than on the right, where he usually played for us.
Madueke did the right thing, even though it was going in.Should have got a goal also but got it stolen off him by Noni , heading it in before it crossed the line .
I didn't realise that. He'd be quality for us. I really rate him.Madueke did the right thing, even though it was going in.
Another of our juniors who slipped through our fingers.
I think there’s a deal to be done for him with Guehi going the other way and being Chelsea’s next captain. Having seen him play on the left last night he’s the obvious answer when we’re forced to sell Guehi.Yes I think we’ve seen the last of him in a palace shirt, I expect he’ll be surplus to requirements at Chelsea again once they’ve got everyone back and they spend another billion in the summer, but someone else will be making a big offer for him now

I think that difference will narrow come the summer and suspect that’s what Chelsea are banking on. When you take into account Guehi entering the last year of his contract and the supposed 20% sell on clause in Chelsea’s favour , assuming Chalobah continues to get game time we’d do well to get Chalobah plus £20 million.Allegedly Chelsea already made us an offer. Chalobah and £10m for Guehi.
I reckon they are some £40m out from our way of thinking.
We need to add a central defender to our needs.
So, LWB and LCD.

Forlorn hope, I suspect. Chalobah will want to move to a bigger club who play in Europe and have a decent chance of winning things. He's 25, so at tetheh age when players recognize they need to make the big move or it will soon be too late.Still harbour some hope we'll see Trev back.
Tosin and Colwill will be their preferred CB pairing I suspect. So there is half a chance that Trev doesn't start again
