I do, you point out their paradoxical relationship with their largely socially conservative client group that the left rely on for votes....Which will turn on them as demographics worsen for Europeans...but they never care about the long term anyway.....they can't help themselves, their fetish for the oppressor/oppressed narrative and need for egalitarianism, as if it's some kind of mother's milk over-rides any common sense about what they are enabling.....Like the grooming gangs, they can't take any responsibility because that would be admitting that their whole ideology is nightmare fuel.....the road to hell paved with good intentions.

Ultimately no one wants a worse future and will avoid things breaking down as much as possible....I'm no different in that respect. However, if you use logic and follow things through then longer term it doesn't look good. Obviously the biggest factor is economic and demographic (which are related) but essentially the separation in beliefs between the default left and right is only widening and that eventually transmits even into the elite class (because deep pockets is where it fundamentally matters). Once that happens it's just a matter of time until one persecutes the other and as it escalates things get dangerous.

What you need is common sense ahead of self interest and unfortunately that was lost quite a long time ago, along with the connection to the land (citizens of nowhere).... the longer term reality is tribalism, class, cultural or racial depending upon the group or demographic.

America is an exemplar of this happening in slow time, whereas Europe is fundamentally more repressive to right wing freedoms and thus it is creating a more toxic response as the economics worsen......and as usual they finger point rather than look at themselves.

Never forget that social liberalism/neocommunism and obviously those who followed it brought sectarian politics to your country.

It'll only worsen as the demographics of different ethnic groups increases.....Which if you look at primary school statistics is baked in. It never had to be this way.....people were never asked and those that objected were demonised for it.

There will come a time where those that backed the early stages will deny they ever did.

The Lessons of 500 years in Northern Ireland were not learned, not remembered. And seemingly will now be repeated on the UK mainland ? Lessons learned in the Balkans, India/Pakistan, The Middle East & Rwanda.
Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat its mistakes.

What are the characteristics of that thing ? I would guess we could start by looking at....

- freedom of speech, censorship either violent or legal ?
- a tax being imposed upon non believers ?
- believers getting a better financial deal than non believers ?

- 'modesty rules' for billboard adverts & the curtailing of alcohol from certain places ?
- political policing ?
- certain rules about food being implemented, with or without the consent of diners ?

- a prohibition or discouragement on the preaching of Christianity or other religions ?
- a preference for an authoritarian-rule over a pluralist-tolerant-democracy ?
- a biased Media ?
- a certain degree of AntiSemitism at all levels of society

- Bigamy, Polygamy, and certain new sexual behaviours, & marital behaviours.....new to Europe, that is ?

What other test-attributes would you look at Dan ?
