Tory wife Imprisoned for race hate.

Some information has come out on the judge who sentenced Lucy Connolly to 31 months in prison.

I won't give his name but this judge is of east Asian heritage and last April took charge over the case of a one Mohammed Abbkr.

Mr Abbkr was found guilty of attempted murder for setting two Mosque attendees on fire as they exited a Mosque

However as it was decided that Abbkr suffered from mental health issues, he decided that this guilty attempted murder charge was not worthy of a prison sentence.......the actual attempted murder of setting two people on fire.

Instead this judge gave Abbkr gave an indefinite hospital order.

However, for Connolly....someone who wrote words on social media, which they took down shortly after and apologised for......this judge stated that her sentence was to 'punish and deter'.

So we see that due to the way our lawmakers have designed the laws the situation exists where violent words can be punished more than actual serious violent action itself.

I question this when it comes to giving people actual prison time.

We shall eventually see what judgement is passed upon the Labour councilor who seems to have had his trial set considerably further back compared to anyone else.....Also again, I ponder why he gets a trial while others were reportably advised otherwise.

And this just requires an apology!

And we’re told two tier justice doesn’t exist. Have you got any links on this?

I guess justice, crime and punishment is at one level subjective. Ok we have trial by jury which is probably a system that does feel better than other nations where penalties are administered by a trained judiciary, but we also have judges and magistrates who are volunteers.

In the endless chatter of social media we see a lot of comments where from all sides if someone is jailed for a view we support that sentence is harsh yet if it is a view we disagree with it is good old British justice at its best,

But as with anything it is subjective. All we can ask for is consistency by right now the system supporting the judicially is in massive need of investment as it is like a lot of public service for a load of reasons creaking at the seams. This has in turn I reckon allowed political influence from the last and current government to seep into the system.

Looking for fact and context on this judge’s sentencing. Here is the case of the Muslim man who set fire to 2 people exiting a mosque.

‘The defendant, who was granted leave to remain in 2019, claimed those he attacked were not human and could not be injured by fire.
Abbkr was also said to have believed that those he had set ablaze were among several people "controlling him through magic".
At his sentencing, the court heard from a consultant forensic psychiatrist who said it was, in his view, "very clear indeed" that Abbkr had schizophrenia.
Dr Ross Mirvis, who also assessed Nottingham killer Valdo Calocane, explained Abbkr had a central belief an old man called Muhammed Ali had performed magic on him and was able to control his mind.

He recommended Abbkr, who had no prior history of violent episodes and no criminal record, be restricted to a secure unit in a hospital, where he could undergo prolonged treatment.
"If he wasn't suffering with mental disorder I don't think he would have committed the offence," Dr Mirvis told the court.
While the jury was not satisfied Abbkr met the legal definition of insanity, Judge Inman said it was clear he was suffering very serious mental illness and was psychotic at the time of the attacks’

Here is another case of an Asian man, probably a Sikh, disabling a young girl for life by dangerous driving receiving a short sentence. He served 6 months of 21 months just after the crash and was sentenced to 18 months 9 years later after she died as a result of the crash. His father has a bit more of a conscience and decency than his spoilt son known locally as ‘’The Chicken King.’’

‘A millionaire's son has been jailed for 18 months for causing the death of a girl who died nine years after a car crash left her severely disabled.
Cerys Edwards was 11 months old in 2006 when Antonio Boparan, then 19, crashed head-on into her parents' car at 70mph in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
Her death was a result of the crash, a post-mortem examination found.
Cerys's father Gareth Edwards described the sentence as an "insult" after "12 years of hell".
Speaking afterwards, he said: "Today we have finally got some justice for Cerys after more than 12 years of hell.
"Finally we can say it as it is, Boparan is a child killer. He has broken our hearts.
"But in reality Boparan will only serve around 15 months behind bars in total for killing a child and destroying several lives, which is a complete insult."

Boparan, 32, of Sutton Coldfield, admitted causing death by dangerous driving at Birmingham Crown Court.
As well as his prison sentence, Boparan was also banned from driving for three years and nine months.
His father, Ranjit Singh Boparan, is known as "The Chicken King" after founding the 2 Sisters Food Group.

Following the crash, Boparan was convicted of dangerous driving in April 2008 and served six months of 21-month jail sentence.

Mr Edwards added: "Boparan has never really apologised and never shown genuine remorse to us for his flagrant disregard for road safety and for the devastating injuries he caused Cerys that ultimately cost her her life.

Boparan's father made a £200,000 payment to Cerys's parents to buy a house suitable for her needs, and attended a funeral service arranged by Mrs Edwards for the little girl, the court heard.‘
