God I hope not !Well I expected this like most of you. But I'll being having nightmares until I know for sure OG's replacement isn't Gareth Southgate.

We will get the new main stand but waiting years for further improvement is not going to get us where we want. Investors who actually want sporting success is the way forward if we are to achieve the next level. Speculation for accumulation.Agreed, the slow piecemeal plan is always a risk as it depends on a) continuous good recruitment and b) a lot of luck. 3 stands (and Sainsbury's) need knocking down and redesigning to get a proper capacity back, and that must involve ground sharing. That corporate stand will be useless in the championship. Mind you after today's news we might not even get that.
It could be worse Mrs Southgate.Well I expected this like most of you. But I'll being having nightmares until I know for sure OG's replacement isn't Gareth Southgate.

Southgate is currently not employed in football management. 😛He has to leave with immediate affect, he now has a conflict of interest, if it is, say Man utd, he would want them to finish above Palace, its obvious, is he going to try ridiculous tactics, and styles as a test for his new job, its impossible for him to motivate players, he is not a man of honour, leave now, even Paddy, He knew in October he was going, a start of our decline, Parish knew, he will be a laughing stock if OG stays,

Might not be too wild a shot but maybe Macclesfield was the squads final reaction to something that's been brewing & whispered about for months, OG seems to have lost the majority if not all the squad with the 'Will He / Won't He' charadeAbsolute joke that after losing to Macclesfield.
some off the backroom staff was already here so not lossing many if anyIt's not just Ollie he bought coaches with him, can't replace everyone, and respect the guy who improved players and gave us our best season.

disagree, If I was Glasner, I'd want Palace to finish above them so when I turn them round it'd look even more impressive!!He has to leave with immediate affect, he now has a conflict of interest, if it is, say Man utd, he would want them to finish above Palace, its obvious, is he going to try ridiculous tactics, and styles as a test for his new job, its impossible for him to motivate players, he is not a man of honour, leave now, even Paddy, He knew in October he was going, a start of our decline, Parish knew, he will be a laughing stock if OG stays, he is a mercenary.
La La Land, he wont give two S***s where Palace finish.disagree, If I was Glasner, I'd want Palace to finish above them so when I turn them round it'd look even more impressive!!

thats years as a Palace fans we always ready for something bad to happen , winning the FA cup changed my belief in the club , it was a big leap and we have had a wobble , but as you know after each wobble we bounce back , the younger fans wont get that , its another step in the Palace path forward COYPIn recent months, privately, I have expressed my grave concerns about the prospects for our club, taking all factors into consideration, and today's announcements have certainly not added to my apprehension as there has been no element of surprise.
Key players have departed, our captain's departure is imminent, others will probably follow before next season and of course our manager is departing for 'Pastures new'.
We are in 'Pitchy seas' perhaps holed below the waterline.

Recruitment and retention are easier if you are further up the pyramid. You can attract better players and pay them more. It is also about the next generations aspiring to play for Palace instead of say Arsenal or Liverpool. We need to inspire.Very few clubs can keep their assets regardless of size. SP, OG and Dougie Freedman helped get the club in the position we are in. Procuring top players then getting the best out of them, increasing the value of these players so that if and when sold we have the finances to find decent replacements. It’s what we do with the proceeds that matters then, if we reinvest well we will continue to succeed. After all we won the FA Cup in May being the size of club that we are. Thirteen successive seasons in the PL is proof the club's strategy is working. I have no doubt the club will continue to progress. COYP
