We all have our favourite projects, and others we detest.

None of us actually carry the responsibility for making the decisions.

The government does. Which we, collectively, chose.

An effective way of closing down discussion then. The same didn't seem to apply when Trump was being criticised when in office.

Giving more tax to governments is like giving whisky to an alcoholic.

Whole layers of so called 'government' should be abolished along with most quangos.

Government should be limited to the essentials, state spending and taxation should be massively cut.

Of course I’m biased. So are you and so is everyone. It’s a human habit that will and has always been there !
