Well, from your tone I think you dislike white people's history nor seem to think they should have their own countries.....unlike for black people in somewhere like South Africa for example.

My response has been to your original post, which inferred that it was wrong for the Apartheid regime to go on the grounds of what is happening in SA now. That was the inference and that's what I was 'pointing' at. Was I wrong?

Mandela held the truth and reconciliation campaign to stop a retributive bloodbath in SA but it's a tragedy that, since his death, that retribution is being carried out and it is an utter disgrace, of course.

I spoke to an expat South African restaurant owner in Scotland and asked whether it is true that white farmers are being massacred and his simple reply was "yes".

Yeah no one could see that one coming could they....

Like I'd say to Palestinians, have said for years, best thing they can do is get out of there to another Arab state I've also said the best thing the Boer can do in SA is go back to Europe or the States.

I recognise that it's much easier said than done. Many won't do it for reason A or B. But South Africa is on the spiral down and it's just how these things go....without foreign investment it would happen much faster. Zimbabwe is basically the end state for middle and central Africa and Zimbabwe isn't even the worse.

It's not even about right or wrongs at the end of the day it's about the direction of travel and wanting the best for your family. Einstein got out of Germany in the 20s because he had the means and IQ.

Some people are just given a shite sandwich in life and it sucks....but many others have opportunities and just make the wrong choices....that's how the cookie crumbles.

The racism in South Africa, and many other african nations is profound, and it extends to immigration because they really don't like poorer africans from Zimbabwe and the likes coming into South Africa to make more money - go ask that restaurant owner what "necklacing" is and whether the black saffers do that to black zimmers.
