This being the Chris Middleton who briefly worked for the BBC as a freelance newsreader in Newcastle before being sacked for promoting his own single which expressed his political views?

No axe to grind there then? No political campaign in process?

So according to you the BBC isn't political but sacked a guy for his political views, whilst keeping a guy who definitely published his political views, saying that they weren't their business. But those views were opposites...

Why let her off so lightly? No punishment at all for a repeat offender. I can't see a man getting treated so leniently, BBC frames it like she's a poor female who had a hard time
