The bbc, again.

I’ve just been stopped by some shops by 2 people working for BBC London. They asked me if I feel threatened by the flags going up. No I’m not. Am I patriotic? Yes? They weren’t filming me. This developed into me saying this is the only country where we should feel ashamed of our history, culture and identity. I also named France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, parts of Africa and the Middle East playing their part in colonialism, slavery and exploitation. We then agreed some immigration is needed but not at this level and the low birth rate is part of the need. The female interviewer then said she’s from immigrants so I said partly me too. She asked if she could film me and remarked on the quality of my points even though I said loads of BBC staff and viewers would disagree. I said I’d think about it after doing what I had to do. I decided not to. More to lose than gain and I can’t trust the BBC and it’s mainly watched by people nodding to their propaganda.
Your cards marked now Rudi.😂

Imagine being so full of yourself that you spoiled a gig for your own supporters, letting them down, just because you don't like one person.

What is it with these 'artists', why the feck does every one of them have to have a hard-line political stance.

It won't age well, in the 80s it was about apartheid and now look at the state of south Africa

Eurovision has never been about politics, says BBC boss Tim Davie

Are you kidding me? Geez has this guy never watched the show. I'm not talking about the gender or sexual preferences of the artists but the voting. Is he really saying politics has nothing to do with it?

I think we all know that some countries will never vote for other countries or will always favour a certain country.

Okay Tim, nothing to do with politics

Well it has never been about music either.

what he really means is "the Eurovision has never been about our politics"..... only about his.

Someone might be able to find me a link but yesterday there was a three hour debate in Parliament about Starmer's handing of the Mandleson affair and yet there was no live reporting and little mention of it at all.
Starmer din't turn up - no mention really.
It is like - nothing to see here guv!
Also - and I have no idea of the facts of course - the march on Saturday - one hears very different accounts and also about the number of people there but if you just used the BBC website then - there were not many more than 100,000 people (maybe it was treble that), it was far right (government rhetoric), they did mention 25 arrests but didn't comment how few that was for the number of people attending, little mention of the far left march and certainly no criticism of the Met - whereas I believe they deserved to be criticised for their handling of the day.
The BBC is so blatantly biased, it is almost comical!

It's an old BBC trick. They bury the news they don't like, it's there and often briefly on the front page, but you have to look for it. Meanwhile stories about Stephen Lawrence or an alphabet soup victim the Tories / Farage are on the front page for days.
No. They take editorial decisions on the importance.

That you think something is important doesn’t mean it is.

The BBC’s editors having been trained to do their job probably know how to value whether things are newsworthy, or not, better than anyone trained in something else.

Absolutely.

Much better under apartheid.

If only the whites were in charge again, eh?

Damn.

That's not wrong relatively in material terms.

Morally though, they should have black leaders....and that's what they feel themselves....to the extent of violence with a sizable percent.

I agree that South Africa is a high majority black country, that should remain so and that ideally it would be ruled by black people native to Africa (even though most of the blacks in SA are newer to the areas than the Europeans there...but it's still their region).

Which is why your obvious problem with colonization is somewhat ironic as you appear to have no issues with its reverse in European countries.

My problem was with Apartheid.

Now, I wonder if your little brother might be able to provide an answer to my question.

So, Spindle?

Classic ignoring of the issues raised from the guy who comes on Hol asking people questions wanting people to speak on the 'far right' all the time.

For him, just wants to narrow things down to just what he wants.

Double standard much?

Spindle is his own man mate, we differ on stuff but what would you know...You don't read......that's the thing over here, we can have our own opinions.

So, where do you stand on Spindle labelling me a white hater? Talking of diversion.
