I wouldn’t classify that as a breach of political impartiality rules, which is what is really being discussed. This was, in someone’s judgment, an error by a programme maker. Very much though also a matter of opinion.

Unfortunately the opinion that counts is the one of the organisation responsible for the decision.

That’s nothing to do with political impartiality. It was a mistake and therefore a breach of the broadcasting code. An error of judgement by an editor. Not the deliberate slanting of content.

What was that blur that flashed by? Oh, just the goalposts headed somewhere else.
