Any responsible survey is representative. That 20% now regard the BBC that way says more to me about the growth of right wing populism than it does about the BBC itself.

As I write this I am watching the BBC’s own investigation on part of this “Inside the rage machine”. You should watch it.

Presumably those on the left are similarly susceptible to untrustworthy and biased outlets but you never mention them. A centrist approach which only looks to criticise one side isn't very centrist.

In other BBC news their lawyers have asked the Judge in Florida to dismiss Trump’s claim against them. The arguments seem unanswerable to me. Whether a Judge in Florida whose advancement could depend on Trump agrees will be interesting to see. You can read it here:-
