The new FFP window has just started this is why some clubs did business early and then waited for other deals because it would be in 2 different windows.
Never rated Moody and it shows again our low standards to even have him part time on the books & it would not surprise me if Super Al the way you keep seeing him about has a role in the club as well.
Notice how quiet Woody has been since the takeover.
Glasner has just given a characteristically upbeat press conference.
He said that both Eze and Guehi are scheduled to start v Chelsea on Sunday , but added that he’d been in football a long time and knows how things can change before then.
I don’t know what anyone else thought watching it, but it wouldn’t surprise me if both go - possibly in the last week of the window when the pressure to conclude deals it at it’s highest.
Clearly clubs aren’t willing to pay Eze’s release clause, but that doesn’t mean they can’t come in with lower bids leaving Palace with a decision to make if they need funds to do their own trading.
With Guehi , Parish has been pretty explicit that he can’t countenance him leaving on a free
Glasner wasn’t asked about incomings at all in the broadcast section.
It may be those morsels will be reserved for the press in the section released later.
I’d say that concludes our transfer business now until we sell someone first or are able to get in some loans. Is this lad a goalkeeper/defender/attacker/ right wing back and does he know how to lay the foundation for a new stand? Perhaps the coup of the summerHold ya horses lads, stop ya whinging, we've signed a player . . . yup, you heard right

Can he play CB? If not we don't need him with cover in place for Mitchell. I'd rather use a loan spot for a position we need to cover such as CB and strikerFive matches across 14 days and it is only the start of the season yet with a depleted squad already...signings MUST be a priority even if on a free at the 11th hour e.g, likes of Willian for experience. What has happened to Chilwell? Can we not get him back on loan?

Why is it that I would be okay for Danny Ings on the bench? 🙂Chillwell is still at Chelsea up for sale but as is the case with all there players they are on high wages and will want a big fee so not really an option plus we signed a left back Sosa.
Willian is too old 37 he was released for a reason and didn't do anything last year.
We need players who are going to compete and improve the squad.
Right back and another one in center are required.
I have horrible feeling we will end up getting someone like Danny Ings
Well Spammers just signed Callum Wilson who I would have been quite happy with, certainly an upgrade on Nketiah even if he is "in the autumn of his career".Why is it that I would be okay for Danny Ings on the bench? 🙂
In a Sainsbury’s queue behind Nugent ;-)Are Cameron Jerome and Frazer Campbell still available?
Yes, Frazer is a free agent. Are Cameron Jerome and Frazer Campbell still available?
16 days, fingers crossedYou can factor in the CAS appeal and the uncertainty over Guehi and Eze, but it has been p*ss poor. We need back up in defence, regardless of the other situations and we've only got Sosa in, we do have depth in midfield, Guessand would have given us all the back up we needed up front and didn't cost a fortune, but to not have arranged for at least one versatile central defender to come in at this late stage, in defiance of what Glasner has clearly warned against, is unforgiveable. We know there's a budget but you have to have a squad fit for purpose before the beginning of August, especially given our start last year. If Guehi goes there has to be an immediate replacement so I can see a Liverpool player arriving in a swap with cash, possibly Joe Gomez. I think Parrish wants to get one more season out of Eze. If we can keep him for another year that will partly offset the lack of incoming players, but I'm baffled as to why we haven't got any back-up central defenders in.

And why have a buy-out clause which expires before the transfer window to allow the opportunity unless it's a way for the club to have a way of selling players we no longer want even though the asking price hasn't been met. If that's the case with Eze we might as well give up.How can they not pay his clause but instead pay under it then?
