Summer Transfers 2025 (rumours and incomings)

On a free… Wilan has plenty of of experience and would be decent cover.

Also that Ward fella could do a job I’m sure

way too old we need people in peak or younger.

we need to stop bringing in people with no resale value to just fill numbers.

We did but in one off games. Over the course of a season the odds on us are longer than a donkey's donger. As for being preferable dealing with UEFA being publicly knocked back by a drunk Bonnie Blue would better.
I think Brentford and Everton did the double over us last season. Rectifying those sort of results is a must

Crystal Palace to ‘offer short-term deal to Jamie Vardy’ after striker development

Crystal Palace may reignite their interest in Jamie Vardy and offer him a short-term contract as Oliver Glasner’s pool of available striker options gets smaller by the week.

Vardy left Leicester City at the end of last season after 13 years and 500 games played for the club, with a lasting legacy as a Premier League winner from when they shocked the world in 2016.

The top-flight legend’s future has been up in the air ever since, with a number of clubs registering their interest in his services as he seeks
Football Insider revealed in May that Crystal Palace had joined the race to sign Vardy alongside Wolves ahead of the summer window, with the Eagles making contact with the 38-year-old’s camp over a potential free transfer move.

He is still yet to join a new club, and with the 2025/25 Premier League campaign soon to be underway, Glasner’s side should be looking at offering him a contract due to their lack of options in attack for the next few months to come.

Odsonne Edouard and Eddie Nketiah situations leave Palace short
Palace’s summer has been dominated by off-field events, and they have recently been confirmed as demoted to the Europa Conference League by CAS, with Nottingham Forest taking their place in the Europa League.

Austrian boss Glasner recently bemoaned the Eagles’ lack of transfer activity, and he is sure to want to being in a new centre-forward as soon as possible with Eddie Nketiah likely to be out until the end of September [BBC] after suffering a hamstring injury in pre-season.

The ex-Arsenal attacker has played second-fiddle to Jean-Philippe Mateta since he moved to Selhurst Park, and the only other senior striker on the Eagles’ books right now is Odsonne Edouard.

He is not in the club’s plans for this season, however, after spending last term on loan at Leicester with Vardy, and according to Foot Mercato, Ligue 1 side Nice are advancing on a move for Edouard, and he wants to join them and make the move back to France this summer.

That leaves Mateta as Glasner’s only option up front for potentially the first six weeks of the new season, and so it seems like a no-brainer for Palace to go back in for Vardy.

He proved last campaign that he still has what it takes to perform regularly in the top-flight, even at 38-years-old, with nine goals in 35 league games, and his outstanding experience would be a massive help to the Eagles as they aim for success in Europe and on a domestic level once more.

Palace would face strong competition for Vardy
Vardy is understandably taking his time to decide his next move after so long building a legacy at the King Power Stadium, and Palace are unlikely to have a clear path to his signature if they do reignite their interest soon.

Football Insider revealed last month that newly-promoted Championship side Birmingham City are plotting a formal move for Vardy as they aim high in the second-tier, but whether he will want to drop into a lower league is currently unclear.

Vardy’s Premier League career stats
Palace would surely be a more attractive option to the veteran forward than Blues, but both Celtic and Rangers are also interested in Vardy right now, and they may each potentially be able to offer Champions League league stage football soon.

Whether the Eagles do want to make a move for him remains to be seen, but if they do, then they will need to act quickly to get a deal over the line for both the start of the new campaign and to make sure they are ahead of other interested teams.

Vardy isn't the ideal solution but he still seems capable and he's younger than Kevin Phillips was when we signed him so who knows?

It’s becoming very worrying that there’s more rumours about our players leaving the club than coming to us in last few days.
Most who were linked to us have gone elsewhere.
Edouard-Nice
Franca-Brazil
Eze-spurs
Guehi-Liverpool
Wharton-Madrid
Rak-sakyi-rangers
Mateta-linked away
Doucoure, nketiah and Riad injured
We were linked with
Guessand-Villa
Ndoye-Forest
McAtee- linked forest
Van den berg-fc koln
Diomande,Hackney,el Khannouss,Martinez and Bisseck rumours have disappeared/gone cold
To sign 2 players (3m) is a lack of ambition to move forward esp after our 2 trophies.
The person im most worried about leaving is Ollie who has given players and fans the belief of winning!!!
I hope Ollie gets a few new signings (2-3) At least otherwise it’s going to be a tough season ahead

So that's a 'no' then
On the pitch, there is no other player I would rather have had in the past 10 years that we could have afforded when he first came into the top flight. I can still remember the effoirt he was putting in for Leicester once when we were giving them a tonking and the rest of Vardy's team had given up
