Summer Transfers 2025 (rumours and incomings)

There's no way OG will sign an extension at this rate. He's ambitious and if we don't back him he will go. This is exactly the same as last season and I think that's why MG and Eze are sill with us. OG has probably said if they go then so do I .
Do you have inside information or just generally guessing?

Other teams interested in, say, Guehi and Eze, will wait until the end of the window to try to minimize a (for them) costly bidding war. But for us this creates huge uncertainty, not knowing our budget, so we'll likely end up with either: A) a couple of last-minute, fairly expensive talents who'll take a while to become integrated into our system, or B) the status quo, with no new significant signings.

It is ever thus.

No inside info. Just reading what Glasner has said. " I only have 17 players. I was promised more. " He doesn't sound happy . If you're asking someone to extend their stay then the situation doesn't sound good does it ?

If Glasner were ever going to stay longer he would have signed an extension last season.

The only people who sign two year contracts are those using you as a stepping stone.

We understood this at the start.

I totally feel for him but with the reshuffling of the board securing finances to sign players is naturally going to be much more difficult.

I'd like to know what areas he'd like new players in.
I'd like a new CB, mid, winger and striker, unless he thinks any of the youngsters can cut it.

Surely at this point it just has to be worth it to terminate Edouards contract and get a talent from a foreign or lower league.

I don't know if any of you follow The transfer flow podcast but one of the hosts is a guy who set up Statsbomb (?) , Ted Knutson, who knows his stuff, albeit he comes across as unappealing narcissist
Anyways, they are not afraid to pan transfers e,g Cunha and Mbuemo but here are their comments on a couple we have been linked with. Even if we keep Eze, these would be useful members of the squad whose value is unlikely to depreciate much even if they don't pan out
  • After Morgan Gibbs-White decided to renew his contract with Nottingham Forest, Tottenham need to find a new attacking midfielder. They’re now being linked to 21-year-old Bilal El Khannouss, who reportedly has a release clause of £22.5m after getting relegated with Leicester. El Khannouss was one of the Foxes’ few bright spots last season, is a talented passer, and he’s good value at that price point. He’d fit in well at a team that had a lot more of the ball than Leicester did.
  • Speaking of passing midfielders who are good value for money, can someone explain to me why Hayden Hackney is lacking in Premier League suitors? Ipswich have had a £15m bid accepted, which every single team in the bottom half of the Prem should go match today

More delays..
