Summer Transfers 2025 (rumours and incomings)

I think it’s been quoted by a source elsewhere that we are looking to bring in 3 players, a defender, attacking midfield and striker,
In addition or replacements?

If the latter - and Eze and Guehi stay - that means all out for a striker?

Personally I'd love to get additions in either of the 2 defenders we've been seriously linked with, Hackney in midfield and a decent Championship striker (?)... and keep our key players.

Greedy? Not if we qualify for EL...

On AM - Esse and Franca?

Think he's going to Ipswich for £20m

There's a story doing the rounds that the exit clause in Eze's contract expires today.
The story implies that this leaves Arsenal free to negotiate a lower fee!

Good luck with that!

I don't see Parish prepared to engage in this at all and I don't see Eze pushing for a move.

I think Eze starts the season with us despite all the noise.

Guehi is more tricky as I think Parish will be reluctant to lose the chance to get a fee for him.
He can't be forced to leave though.

It is two weeks before the deadline closes from a few sources, including the BBC, could be rubbish.

I haven't seen us linked with anyone close to filling Eze's boots, so I hope the club stands firm and says no to any bids. TalkSport referenced Arsenal only wanting to pay £55 million, which, when you take out QPR's cut, would only leave us with around £40 million. For that money, we'd be better off keeping him for two seasons and letting him walk on a free for the value he brings to the team. If Arsenal are serious, and want to show Eze that they are, then they need to pay his release fee or bugger off.

Even if Eze stays I still think we need another creative player in our ranks.
