I will be very happy if he stays. Will be great for Palace and him. He is a key part of our set up. Guaranteed first team football and we will prepare him well for England next year. 🤞🏼

Will be happy if he stays obviously only if he signs an extension and doesn't run down his contract and leaves for nowt at the end of it .I will be very happy if he stays. Out of the 3 scenarios; being sold, staying for another year, signing a new contract I would say the latter has the lowest probability. I just can't see it happening, so we have to decide what's best sell him at a lower fee to his preferred club or we have a top CB for another year and then wish him well. Will be happy if he stays obviously only if he signs an extension and doesn't run down his contract and leaves for nowt at the end of it .
Ive given up trying to pre guess our board. One thing in our favour is that Parish through his self taught methods is pretty well versed in all this stuff and will no doubt have already weighed up all possible options. I also believe he builds good relationships with the players so with any luck they will find a good resolution.Out of the 3 scenarios; being sold, staying for another year, signing a new contract I would say the latter has the lowest probability. We're not in Houston! Talk is he is set on Liverpool and prepared to run his contract down. Of course, he will have to take into account that Liverpool may go in a different direction, he could get a bad injury and he won't be exactly the most popular player next seasonEverton were reported to have been willing to pay -£75M for Wilf and his contract situation left us with nothing.
Spurs were reported to have offered £75M for Marc also.
Whilst I concede both players have brought additional value to our club by staying I would be extremely upset to repeat the mistakes I think we made with Wilf.
We do not need Marc’s contract situation to destabilize the squad with rumors and gossip. We need to give him until the end of the month to sign an extension or he goes to the highest bidder and we move forward with a replacement.
Wilf staying beyond his time was undoubtably detrimental to the relationship that he had built with the club & supporters, but whilst its clear that there was a confirmed offer for him from Arsenal it was well below the amount required & it had payments staggered over a number of years, which made in unacceptable, Arteta wanted Wilf, the director of football wanted Pepe, then when the Wilf offer was knocked back they went & wasted £72 million on Pepe.Everton were reported to have been willing to pay -£75M for Wilf and his contract situation left us with nothing.
