Purely a guess but is it possible one, or more, of his students complained, got no action and went to a journalist?

I rewatched the interview Arday had with the hiring manager, she really does give the impression of that smiling HR lady who you just know will stick the knife in your back the moment you need her support.
 
He was a goalkeeper and played for a Sunday League team, Battersea Park Rangers apparently who were pretty decent in league several years ago apparently. This is taken from a QPR forum from someone who played against him it seems:

I actually knew him very remotely. Back in the day he was the goalkeeper for a team that played in my Sunday League called Battersea Park Rangers who actually won the whole League some 7 or 8 years ago (from memory), i.e. 7 or 8 divisions of 10 teams so no mean feat. I came across him at one or two of their games and despite playing in the best team in the League and probably being the best keeper in the League he was actually a really down to earth and friendly guy.

This is clearly not the semi-professional level he claimed to have played at for some years. So, question is, did he get scouted in this league and move on to a paid contract somewhere else? Clearly not Palace in this timeframe but maybe someone knows?

It would fit in with his pattern of embellishments if this was the zenith of his goalkeeping career.
 
Just seen that Robbie Williams has said he is autistic. Next he’ll be saying that he was part of a mega popular boy band in the 80s/90s and then went on to have a successful solo career. He thought that saying he had a trial for Port Vale might stretch his credibility however.

So there is limited merit to his claims no illusions of grandeur - wonder what his family is all thinking now ?

Like don’t think they are saying “ told him to stick with Battersea Park story line “ & “ why did he say that we agree 3 marathons in 3 years “

Must have been a real wonder at the family gatherings “ So Ardy what you done since I saw you last week , any trips to moon yet or Mars “

He was so adept at selling whoppers to all and sundry that he would have made a very successful Burger King franchisee.

Well, I've reflected like Burnham asked us too.

And I still believe that the truth has to be defended.....Even at cost, otherwise everything is lost.

Universities should hire on merit and uphold standards, not tickboxes.

Arday gamed a system that was willing to be gamed, and wasn't a good person.

The people who promoted him and didn't properly check sources should be sacked and those that attacked truth seekers should also be sacked and the students taught by Arday should sue.
 
Is Burnham suggesting that media should be careful about publishing the truth and instead protect liars from exposure?

Arday's actions and much more the actions of his employers denied qualified people of positions and jobs and they subjected truth seekers to threats and investigations....With the Police embarrassing themselves.

The problem though is that the ideology of today's education system seeks to replace the capitalist system and views it as evil, or degrees of at least.

And just like Marx, it doesn't have a good answer for what to replace it with...it has all the same slogans that the original communists used......Yet all those alternatives ended in disaster.
