Maybe palace don’t want the agg of having us in the same stand but don’t want loads of seats left emptyWhy would we give any team an advantage? Give them the 15%. If we get through the cup is wide open , 3 out of the top 4 are already out.

This takes me back. First year I started going- didn’t go to this game though.First league game following third division promotion. Vince Hilaire's first goal. Such a pretty kit. The old den.
Probably. The demand for tickets is massive as we haven’t played at yours in a long time now.Wonder if Millwall can fill the AW?

The AW has (according to google) a capacity of some 9500 seats, so filling it by an away side is quite a substantial undertaking but for a local match like Palace Millwall you could certainly see it happening, especially with a few neutrals / football tourists etc thrown in for good measure -
However , not to be overlooked Palace have maybe 4500 season ticket holders in the AW who will want at least some kind of access to tickets for this game.
It appears that because I’m AW but still a ST holder I get last dibs prior to it going to members etc. hopefully it’s one ST one game ticket though. The AW has (according to google) a capacity of some 9500 seats, so filling it by an away side is quite a substantial undertaking but for a local match like Palace Millwall you could certainly see it happening, especially with a few neutrals / football tourists etc thrown in for good measure -

So they claim but actually in person they generally do care. Quite a lot too. Once they've almost understood what's been said which can take a while.
Props to you for volunteering. Truthfully I'd go but I'm not actually going to Palace v Millwall anyway and I'm nowhere near Croydon, haha.Hi Eagles fans, I volunteer at Croydon Football Club based at the Croydon Sports Arena. We've enjoyed a decent number of Palace fans coming to our games this year and are always looking to encourage more. In particular the timing of the FA game against Millwall means that the Croydon game kicks off about an hour after the game finishes and I reckon is a great opportunity for any fans interested in coming down after to take a look (and to indulge in more football).
In terms of incentives:
Cheers!
- 25 minute walk down Tennison Road, or the 130 bus stops just outside
- £5 entry for anyone with a Palace ticket (or season ticket), £2.50 for concessions
- £4.50 beers, wines, mixers etc.
- Food trucks
- Entertainment for the kids
- Tea hut run by Croydon Mencap
- Croydon are in quite a spicy promotion race so a perfect time to take an interest
Promo below:
Cheers! Yeah we have a rivalry with AFC - The Trams vs The Rams! Though they're more Mitcham way, so a bit further west and in a different vertical so we don't play too often. At Croydon FC we're trying to connect more within SE25, CR0, CR2 and be as much a part of the community as possible, which seems to be working as people get more interested in non-league.Props to you for volunteering. Regardless I'll look out for you lot next time I'm down. Also, do you have a bit of a rivalry with AFC Croydon Athletic? Zaha co-owns them and a bunch of ex-Palace players play for them, Nya Kirby, Brandon Pierrick etc. Nathan Ferguson soon probably!
That's awesome, best of luck for the seasonCheers! Yeah we have a rivalry with AFC - The Trams vs The Rams! They haven't been given all of the AW. The last 3 blocks closest to the Holmesdale are for Palace. On Millwall ticket page says they have been given a ticket allocation of 3781. If they are given the whole of the Arthur Waite stand there’s going too be a lot of empty seats
The facilities in the main stand are better - lolI could get our STs in AW but going to the main stand. Quite like a change.
Plenty of seats at the mo.
The facilities at Glastonbury in 1971 were better. The facilities in the main stand are better - lol
Leeds basically played their reserves vs Millwall in that game though. That said, they'll be high on confidence regardless. Hope they get battered a couple more times before they come to Selhurst to reduce that confidence further after that Plymouth drubbing.Millwall were comprehensively defeated 5-1 at Plymouth recently but this was the only away defeat in 6 games (All competitions) since Alex Neil was appointed. Millwall recorded an impressive 2-0 victory at Leeds in the last round of FA Cup.
Despite our abject Home record, we will be favourites, however Millwall could well progress to the next round.Millwall signed 8 players in the January 'Window'.
