Troy Deeney probably learned about bullying people from his time in jail.

I have always maintained that jailbirds be excluded from lucrative careers in football. There is already a bar from them working in many other jobs (finance, child-minding, teaching, accountancy, aviation).
Getting banned from football. It would certainly put manners on many a South London bad-boy aged 16.

Deeney's alright. Didn't have the best of starts in life - he's done a lot of work with young offenders and was quoted saying something very interesting on 'role models' - he thinks the idea is overrated, sort of follow your own path not that of some egotistical control freak - a thoughtful bloke who has moved forward.

With all neighbours there is rivalry of some sort. But this is slightly different because Palace aren't the only ones to dislike our friends down the road - everyone hates them and they revel in it.

Ha. Like it. There’s a lot of reasons Millwall fans would give for disliking palace, but jealousy wouldn’t be one of them. If you ask the average Millwall fan palace would be the club they would like to be like the least, regardless of success on the pitch.
