Probably. But not for one of Willo's volcanic lava phals. But would it work for a Madras?
According to a poll that came out yesterday, Trump's approval rating is 38%. Quinnipiac is one of the most respected polls, though I recognize that all polls are dicey. Still, 65% seems a bit outside the statistical margin of error...Good for him. So are 65% of all Americans
Are you serious? we would object to investment from someone whose politics you don't like?Lately the Jets have been diabolical, although they started last season ok before falling off iirc. I think they signed Aron Rodgers as QB didn't they? Also an outspoken right winger.
Edit, looks like they sold him to the Steelers this season
The good news is he is 78Yeah but Johnson's the type that's born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has no concept of anything that doesn't serve to benefit him. Not who you want in charge of Palace. The rival consortium is more palatable.
Yes, point taken. I don't know what it is about sport and idiot owners. As long as we don't go full Peter Ridsdale, then hopefully we'll be OK.Genuine question, is the possibility of getting an egomaniac on the board worth it just to play in Europe for next year, Woody woodpecker seems like the type of man that if he gets on the board that will eventually get total control, it was only before when Ratcliffe took over Man Utd, that H&B were trying to sell there shares to make a bid. I am not saying it should or shouldn't happen
Europe maybe not. Europe AND getting the New Stand built - yes. Without the stand we won’t ultimately make sustainable progress.Genuine question, is the possibility of getting an egomaniac on the board worth it just to play in Europe for next year, Woody woodpecker seems like the type of man that if he gets on the board that will eventually get total control, it was only before when Ratcliffe took over Man Utd, that H&B were trying to sell there shares to make a bid. Presumably without the threat of relegation hanging over their heads its less compelling for him / the club to pony up for better playersApparently not liked by the fans of his US team mainly because they have performed so poorly over many years.
So I hope he doesn't come to us.
One ego maniac enough thanksGenuine question, is the possibility of getting an egomaniac on the board worth it just to play in Europe for next year, Woody woodpecker seems like the type of man that if he gets on the board that will eventually get total control, it was only before when Ratcliffe took over Man Utd, that H&B were trying to sell there shares to make a bid. The financial wisdom of a new stand of any design is very much up in the air, unlike the standEurope maybe not. Europe AND getting the New Stand built - yes. Without the stand we won’t ultimately make sustainable progress.
I dunno that could lead to a Glazer like situation where his kids take over and their only interest is in siphoning off profits while piling everything onto the club's debt. Or Southampton where the kids just wanted to sell up ASAP and let the club decline in the process. The good news is he is 78
There is no Blind Trust option - deadline was March !Has the Blind Trust option been taken ? Or is Textor now compelled to sell , to see CPFC in Europe ?
I don't see Woody fighting to the front of a queue of buyers. Or can Parish still convince UEFA we're all fine without doing anything ?
The thing is, I though Parish said we were alright. But maybe getting some leverage to get Textor out, suits CPFC in the long run
Jeez , worry worry worry !I dunno that could lead to a Glazer like situation where his kids take over and their only interest is in siphoning off profits while piling everything onto the club's debt. Or Southampton where the kids just wanted to sell up ASAP and let the club decline in the process.
I don’t know if Parish, said it in public, but my feeling is he has always thought , rightfully or wrongly, we were alright.Has the Blind Trust option been taken ? Or is Textor now compelled to sell , to see CPFC in Europe ?
