Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

i havent read all the latest commits' from 30 onwards , but fare play to textor to fall on his sword to prove that he only has 25% say in the club , also seems like UEFA realise that there is big holes in there rules , we will be going on a european tour , maybe for a week or two , fun and laughter , to make our dreams come true , I think i could make a song out of this COYP

Palace will probably get beaten by Gibraltar FC in the group stages, with all our fans denied entry for not having the correct visa.

And the perfect answer to those who think Textor is a bit embarrassing. This guy is a committed Trump supporter!

While I don't give a rat's a** who he voted for, he does have the reputation of being an absolutely HORRIBLE owner for the NY Jets. Having said that, if he's a minority owner (ala Textor) with little or no input on decisions, then would it make a difference if we traded one a****** for another?

We will get eight games. Four in Europe. If we do not get to go on tour I will be miffed but we still won the FA Cup! No-one can change that. I would be more annoyed if we qualified for Europe via our league position and had it taken away, just like last time.
As people have said the rules have as many holes as my pants. If you are able to temporarily put your shares in a blind trust it makes a mockery of the rules. e.g. Red Bull Liepzig can put all its shares on 1st March 2025 into a blind trust then the following season they play Red Bull Salzburg in the last game of the group stage of the CL needing win. Red Bull Salzburg throw the match (they know who owns them). Then once knocked out Red Bull Liepzig take their shares back out of the blind trust. If they are going to do this influence thing they should make it something like being applicable for 2 years before entry and 2 years after. That penalises owners like the Notts Forest's owner dipping their clubs in and out of blind trusts. If they break the rules in the 2 years after they get their next European qualification nullified and a fine. Or go the whole hog just make it against the rules to own more than one club in each continent not just per nation. And make it black and white that if someone has more than a x% share holding (indirectly or directly) the rule applies none of this influence nonsense.

It appears we are not alone! Irish Cup winners Drogheda are to appeal to UEFA as they are due to be expelled from the Uefa Conference League under the ownership rules. Their owners, US Trivela Group, also own Danish side Silkeborg who came 7th in their league whilst Drogheda came 9th in the League of Ireland Premier Division. Their claim is that the 1st March deadline for blind trusts is too early and they received official notification too late to take action.

You get european football for finishing 9th in the Irish league, these competitions are even worse than I thought.

Lately the Jets have been diabolical, although they started last season ok before falling off iirc. I think they signed Aron Rodgers as QB didn't they? Also an outspoken right winger.

Edit, looks like they sold him to the Steelers this season

His father founded Johnson & Johnson so we'll be alright for cotton buds and baby oil!
The same Johnson and Johnson who allegedly put asbestos in their baby powder?
