Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

IMO it wasn’t ignorance it was interpretation.

The rules themselves are not fit for purpose which the club statement intimated and need changing
The problem being that CAS decided the rules had been correctly applied, whether fit for purpose or not. Which seems to me to be an abrogation of their purpose.

Whether, or not, there is a legal case for damages caused by a rule not being fit for it’s intended purpose is something for specialist lawyers but the football world, led by us and the consequences we have suffered, must now put pressure on all the football authorities to ensure things are cleaned up. The FA need to make a statement. So does the Minister for Sport and the new regulator.

So much for natural justice.

Ironically UEFA have moved Crystal Palace from a competition in which we share absolutely no ownership links with any other club to one in which we do - David Blitzen owns Brondby who are in the Conference League with us. They really are clamping down on MCOs aren’t they!!!,
