I think that the issue here is that Palace were deemed to be part of a MOC arrangement by UEFA at the time we qualified for the Europa League - ie May 17th. Palace have pleaded otherwise but the absence of any decision from UEFA indicates that they believe Textor had sufficient influence at Palace for them to be considered as part of his club portfolio. Meanwhile, the rest of the football world knows that not to be the case.
Again, my opinion only, but the Lyon fiasco, Textor departing and selling his shares are just sideshows. I could understand UEFA trying to help us by giving us time for any ties with Textor to be severed, but that's not how it's now coming across. It now appears that they have not been convinced by the case put to them by Parish and Textor last month.
I think this is going to Court unless Lyon's relegation is confirmed.
