Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

I am about to set off for Fuerteventura so will miss a couple of weeks or so of nothing (no offence to anyone) and my tuppence is that we will be in Europe for the second time and I hope we do better than last time. Steve Parish has had a mighty painful time for the last few months and has done as well as he could do and hopefully that has been enough. Good luck to all. Stefan Borson is an impressive guy though.
No no no, I’m still not having it, the intertoto cup didn't count 😀

If correct, Ex Dubai cites the risk and current reality, but you cite the hope.

Anyway, it would be absurd to boot us out. With Textor all but gone at both clubs, seemingly as a consequence of the rules, they have clearly worked to address the peril they were created to prevent.

Job done. Why punish any club for taking all reasonable steps to comply with those rules and fully mitigated the risk and potential harm?
While I agree the sensible thing would be to let Palace compete (if Lyon relegated) or both compete (if Lyon not relegated) but Forest have thrown a massive spanner into that possibility IF they are threatening to sue if we are allowed in. UEFA dont want legal action and I'm guessing this is what worries them.
If Forest were to just back off and say fine, Palace have earned their place, let them have it I feel sure UEFA would say we can go ahead and compete.
I dont have an issue with Forest fans but Marinakis has a lot to answer for.

I feel that the UEFA position is that on the 1st March JT had a 45% shareholding in Palace which makes him a person of significant control (regardless of any boardroom voting rights agreement- documented or otherwise) which means that alongside his majority shareholder position at Lyon, both teams couldn't play in the same Europa League tournament, so on that point I believe we are out - I also believe that the only reason it has not publicly been announced is because of the Lyon appeal process, UEFA don't want to kick us out of the Europa League & then have to suffer the embarrassment of inviting us back again if / when the Lyon appeal fails.

Just my tuppence worth -
And my tuppence worth is: In the interests of football, we’ll win at the CAS, but in the interests of UEFA’s laws, Forest will will succeed with their counter appeal, and thereby win the legal argument and qualify for the Europa League, and Brighton will get the Conference League. Who said life is fair.

If I remember right we got it through some fair play thing, because of our exemplary discipline record that season. Probably why we got relegated because we were soft and had no fight in the team
It was offered to every club above Palace first (all nineteen) but none of them wanted it. Palace website and other comments.

So hopefully, whatever the outcome, he is banned from Selhurst Park. Didn’t he ban Gary Neville? If that is not possible I hope all 4 sides give him 90 minutes of dogs abuse
