Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

Sky reporting that the most likely scenario is that Forest take our place in the Europa and we drop into the European Conference.
This is based on Lyon winning their appeal.
The whole system is rotten, but I'm reminded of the Groucho Marx quote,
'I don't want to be a member of any club that would have me as a member.'
Do Sky explain how that would work , Don’t we have the same problem with Bronby? Sounds like another windup .

This also talks about our potential demotion to the Conference competition.
The article also discusses Palace's attempts to demonstrate that Textor was not fundamental in Glasner's appointment.
This was always likely to be an issue.

None of them say much if anything we don’t already know. Most of what they claim to have sussed out has been sussed out by contributions on here. It’s not clear they are even factual, up to now the general feeling has been we have the same problem in the Conference. Does anyone know for sure?

It's totally corrupt, if anything they are supporting all these multiclub and crooked bastards whilst knocking the only PSR following and actual cup winning team out.

They shafted us in 91, we should crowdfund the HF to attend their premises and nearby hotels whilst Parish calls the lawyers.

I hope we sue the shitrags

As an aside, is that any good?
I would say so. Exploring the idiosyncrasies of the game are particularly enjoyable; the offside rule, non-standard pitch sizes; draws!, and the CPFC links and film locations definitely make it worth a watch for Palace fans.

Having watched it has given me an appreciation of why American tourists in London might want to catch a Selhurst Park game...

I think I will check it out at some point then

UEFA are covering themselves bcos if we're in Forest will challenge it on grounds of blatant inconsistency, and if we're out we'll challenge, though strictly speaking we have been in breach we could argue that we could not possibly have been aware that we were in breach in time. But I don't think UEFA can claim that Lyon's demotion is 100% independent of their decision - the threat was made last November, they only made changes post season, so that rule breaking got them to a falsely high position which is debarring us - if they had made the financial and structural changes when first threatened with relegation then their European qualification would be valid, but because they have made the alteration after the season and in reaction to a demotion then their original position is not valid. So UEFA cannot argue the appeal is relevant - even if Lyon are restored to Ligue 1 retrospectively because they now comply, they earned their European place when they did not comply. OK their compliance has to do with the French authorities and not UEFA, but there may be a bit more ammo here for our lawyers, the French may even reinstate them but not in sixth place.

It stinks!
