Palace fans causing disorder

My daughter is 16 has had 14 season tickets and probably goes to 4 or 5 aways a year, sure the first few years she did not go to many but since she was say 10 she has, she is sub 9k of points

So your daughter was able to sit still through games from the age of 2 onwards? Anyone who has experienced toddlers at football, know it's not fun for either the kid or the parent. Also many fans give up their season tickets when they are new parents. If this is not a made-up story, it is highly unusual.

She first came when she was two but to be fair only really started attending regularly from 4, we moved the seat into her name when we lost my Dad. From 4 onwards she has been regularly including midweeks even with our now 2 hour each way journey. Yes when little she has fallen asleep at school after midweeks 🙂

Made up story - please why on earth would I do that ?ST.webp

Fair play. It's turned out to be a smart move 👍🏻

Maybe cost me a fortune as she wants to go to every away that we can get to !!! 🙂
I've always thought 8-9 is the best young age to take kids regularly as they sit still, follow the game somewhat and don't keep asking for a hotdog.

Trouble is, anyone who has kids now are so far behind in points it's impossible for them to make big games.

This makes it more galling when people who clearly had less than 10k points were able to make it into the Palace end at Strasbourg. 👀

To be fair it's not just the HF who I hear were given 50 seats. Away season ticket holders, the charter plane and s*** loads given to player families and friends. Lacroix even spoke about tickets for teammates from his old club!

I don't have a problem with away season ticket holders getting tickets, player and staff family and friends should get them but they need to be limited, no supporter outside of these groups with less than 11k of points should have been able to get a ticket in the away end. I would not have got one but there are others that should have and did not.

Agree but it should be shown as a phase. 1st phase is Away Season ticket holders etc… just feel when the phases come out, you are given false hope you might get a golden ticket. I’ve been a season ticket for many years, go to a few away games each season but rarely buy any merchandise - I’m nowhere near 11k points. So this season, I do feel aggrieved with how the HF are getting such preferential treatment on tickets when they get the club fined and are involved in unnecessary altercations that stains the reputation of our club.

I think it's unfair to blame HF for this. If the club handed them a group of tickets irrespective of points, then it's not their fault. We'd snap them up if it was us! I mean if FC Sochaux-Montbéliard players were in the Palace end, then that takes the piss.

I dont recall who fired the gun but it did seem that if you didn't agree with the 'click' you were going to get banned at some point .A poster had sent me PM's when the discussion started to heat up to watch what I was saying so they must have had a reputation in banning people .

Shame because the football discussion side was quite good at the time but discussing politics with people who think writing in big letters makes their view the only view was all a bit strange

You can represent a normal average point of view there. They love DEI as long as you're excluded

This is a massive shame. I also hope those that participated in this get banned. I like the atmosphere that the HF bring to Selhurst, they’ve done a fabulous job and matchday at home is excellent. Having said that, I wasn’t one of those supporters that the Club allowed to be moved out of my seat, so I’m sure alternate opinions exist.

However, we are all simply football fans so I don’t give even the tiniest and remotest of tosses about any of their politics, their beliefs, their views, their Gods or anything else they may wave flags about outside of supporting Palace and I don’t expect them to bring it to football.

I would not and do not expose those around me at the games to my thoughts on current affairs so I don’t expect others to do it to me.

They may find this hard to believe and understand (so forgive me if this is a reality check) but pretty much no one else gives a s*** about their views on this stuff either. At its base level they are just a small group of fans at a professional football club in South East London. Nothing more, nothing less. Their opinions on anything outside of Palace are irrelevant.

That your kids are now scared of them and don’t want to attend away games is shocking after attending what should have been an atmosphere of celebration and I think, if they have anything about them, that they should reach out to you and work with you to rectify this.

I appreciate that it is also alleged that it wasn’t just them, so I apply the same comments to anyone that brings our club into disrepute and scares future supporters from following the team they love away from home.

We can only assume that his kids are massive Reform loving racists, according to the replies of HF in this thread. So they've been ousted from this All-Socialist football club, good riddance, the little thugs.

Thank you, if honest iv only ever had problems at football caused by the hf. Had to move seats in fredrikstad as they wanted to sit their friends with them andcwas made to move by security to avoid risking trouble with them. See them attack a lone palace fan and his girlfriend after that game in the town. Now what happened in strasbourg, from what I personally see it was the hf who actually instigated that issue hence the kids scared to death of them now. I know the other group retaliated but I am not sure what they was to do in that instant. I remember thinking the hf are going to really hurt them if they dont protect themselves ( obviously doesn't make it right retaliating but see why they did)
We was a very good fanbase before they come along and will continue to be when they go...

I ended my season ticket in Block B in 2004, right where they were. I started many songs in block B for years, and I started up the AWM with Gosling in about 2002 after trading my seat for a match Vs Sheffield Utd.

We were there before and will be there after.

They need to understand that they are serving us, not the other way, it's become a cult of personality

Now things have cooled down. Amazing that some posters have vanished (they really did come out of the woodwork) after having spread HF propaganda and silenced anyone who questioned what happened or condemned the violence as a racist and other insults. (Straight out of the woke left playbook)

Read the equivalent thread on the BBS and stop spouting your agenda driven, factually incorrect nonsense.

If you, and any other poster on here, wants to know what really happened on both away trips, who was responsible, what has happened since, and what the wider fan base thinks about it, read that thread. Not this one.

Well we can't read it. The fact that you think they've reacted differently over there says a lot. We're concerned with our fans, club and image. They are concerned with ideology.

I'm not sure exactly who you are aiming your comments at, but as you rightly say, things have cooled down now.

So why raise the issue again?
