I was there, so I know what I saw and I heard in that moment. It was criminal behaviour from both groups regardless as to what was said or happened before. The wider fan base I have had discussions with are absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of these groups as were the fans in the square that night. You’ve read on here the impact this has had on the children who witnessed the violence. Their parents equally know what they saw.
If this was going through the French courts, I’m pretty sure all those involved from both sides would get a custodial irrespective of the cause. There may be some mitigation on part of the HF, however, there is no defence to what I witnessed.

Yep, in line with most other eye witness accounts from the night and agreed.

The root cause and what element of the support needs identifying and stopping to prevent similar scenes sounds like it’s well under way - both from club and fan base.

Who’s collating the evidence and leading the investigation on behalf of the club please? I’ve been waiting for a statement from the club and I haven’t seen anything as yet. It would be useful that those who were there, get heard and who are not affiliated with either group, what we saw and the impact it had on us. Contacting the club by email is a futile exercise.
 
I'm not sure whoever filmed it and posted on social media did a good thing or not. Once the media see it, then a bit of handbags (which is still not right, but testosterone, coke and booze...) is magnified to "Palace fans run riot" which was not true.

No idea who from the club is charge but one from the HF and one Addo got pulled out before the game Sunday and removed. Worth contacting them just in case with what you saw.

Plenty with evidence of who is in the Addo group and putting racist/political stickers with club image or name on, singing racist songs about our own player and dishing out abuse and starting on our own fans. And making sure it doesn’t happen in Dublin.

Yep all in the thread for others to read your nonsense. Massive long thread on the BBS with more information about what went on and what is being done.

Go and hang out with the Addo lot in Dublin and find out for yourself. You’ll probably find some likeminded individuals. They might even give you a sticker 👍🏻
 
As stated earlier and what I know i see in the square and in the ground. I know where I and many other fans lay the blame. You cannot just decide to attack a pub with a big gang of guys and then defend it by saying, there was alleged racism.
The correct channels should of been taken end of.
