It's an interesting point. One thing Brentford did well under him was get the ball through the thirds in a very efficient way - especially at home. In some ways this would play to the strengths of Brennan Johnson and Sarr. I could see JSL being very effective under him for similar reasons.

On the flipside, they were poor away from home under him for long spells.

Frank's record at Brentford is materially inferior to OG's across most of his career:

Mid table.... As in our best ever premier league finish??? To me that's not the tragedy you make it sound like, especially when we're currently sat 13th, lol.

Something stinks at Spurs. There have been too many good managers fail for it to be the mangers. Thomas Frank has not suddenly become a bad manager. Very very odd indeed. What a stadium too.

I could not agree more. I think Ollie is fantastic at our level. Big club will not put up with him and his very limited tactical approach. Be funny to see though, watching one of the super clubs hitting teams like Brentford on the break. Like Frank… all seems like a good idea until the expectations bite you in the jacksy. Much like the players too… Ask Eze how much his arse hurts sitting on that cold bench at Arsenal.

Watching them last night they were strangely unfocussed and static. Gallagher was taken off after 70 minutes and he hadn't really been mentioned which is unlike him.
 
Tactical changes look good when they work and you have the squad skill levels , Pep could never manage clubs at our level , true skill of a manager is when you get the squad to play as one , that's why alot of the so called great managers have never proven they can manage any team , they go big for big , not big to mediocre clubs

Yes that was a mistake, I thought he'd initially accepted a director of football post either with a club or UEFA, then saw he'd gone to Brondy instead. He's a been there a year on a long contract, so he might not want a return to the prem yet but I'd be happy with him. Carrick looks good now, but there is the point that a lot of his current success is down to Steve Holland. I note that a very shrewd bookie, Bet365, are making an old ally of Ollie, Roger Schmidt 2-1 favourite, whereas the other bookies are going 5 or 6/1.

It feels like if Glasner didn't have a reputation before, he does now.

I can see him cross to the continent - I can't see him staying in the prem - however I would I say it be peak Glasner to go to Brighton.
 
A year ago Spurs would be desperate to get Glasner , Best thing that could happen is Spurs approach Palace for Glasner and offer some compensation .
