Next Manager?

It would not be a surprise to me if Spurs installed an interim (Arry?) and went for Glasner in the summer. Whereas Parish will be very careful about who he appoints next. Glasner (impressed with him as I have been) is high maintenance. He will be looking to avoid that this time. He'll also want a manager willing to work with what he has and not keep whining that he wants more players.
Frank might meet that criteria but I'll be honest. He is not a name that excites me. I feel we'd be more negative under his management. I could be wrong.
I'd like someone that continues trying to play on the front foot when we have a full squad to choose from.

It's an interesting point. One thing Brentford did well under him was get the ball through the thirds in a very efficient way - especially at home. In some ways this would play to the strengths of Brennan Johnson and Sarr. I could see JSL being very effective under him for similar reasons.

On the flipside, they were poor away from home under him for long spells.

Frank's record at Brentford is materially inferior to OG's across most of his career:

Thomas Frank took over a Tottenham team that finished 17th last season.They are currently 16th and in a relegation battle. I believe they have signed 9 players since Postecoglu departed.
Tottenham under Frank made a positive start in the PL winning 3 of their first 4 matches which included a 2-0 victory at Man City.

Something stinks at Spurs. There have been too many good managers fail for it to be the mangers. Thomas Frank has not suddenly become a bad manager. Very very odd indeed. What a stadium too.

As always in football, suitable faces start to emerge. Frank would definitely be a more stable option to Glasner. Frank's sacking should be a warning to Glasner if he is still in pursuit of a 'bigger' club. It's a different world at that level. Glasner's recent behaviour could well have burnt his bridges.
Hopefully we will be seeing clear light in the next couple of weeks and options will start to emerge.
But Glasner seems to have set his stall as 'one trophy and on' olé olé.

I could not agree more. I think Ollie is fantastic at our level. Big club will not put up with him and his very limited tactical approach. Be funny to see though, watching one of the super clubs hitting teams like Brentford on the break. Like Frank… all seems like a good idea until the expectations bite you in the jacksy. Much like the players too… Ask Eze how much his arse hurts sitting on that cold bench at Arsenal.

Watching them last night they were strangely unfocussed and static. Gallagher was taken off after 70 minutes and he hadn't really been mentioned which is unlike him.

Tactical changes look good when they work and you have the squad skill levels , Pep could never manage clubs at our level , true skill of a manager is when you get the squad to play as one , that's why alot of the so called great managers have never proven they can manage any team , they go big for big , not big to mediocre clubs
