How noble to continue struggling to educate such unreconstructed numbskulls. You tend not to influence anyone in an echo chamber.
You just hear the same old reverberating time and time again.

'Benevolent' to whom?A benevolent dictator is far better than the system that rules us.
I kind of agree with you that Musk has strayed far more into the political world than anyone would have thought before.....I think the progressives helping to trans his boy was the catalyst..but then again other billionaires have gone overtly political but just on the left like Soros and Gates, so Musk has that right, for the right, as well......Not that I think Musk is particularly right wing.
Also, to be fair to Musk, his main thing was protecting free speech, and if he hadn't had been relentlessly attacked, both him and his business and had been left alone then I think he would have stayed out of politics.
Now you have a real situation where both sides have serious donors, the Democrats have most of Wall Street, while the Republicans have the Paypal mafia.
This is the set of financial rival elites the right needed......shame that currently it only exists in America.
And like most of their problems this is a situation that the progressives could have avoided if only they actually knew how to properly run things without looking to overturn every apple cart......I can't stand the guy but Blair's book on leadership makes it very clear how the left can manage the right and even gain votes from them if they present themselves sensibly.
So in a way I guess I'm happy that the progressives just can't contain their own fruitcakes and excesses......because they create decline and an ill, both physically, economically and mentally dying violent society.
It’s a tiny world they inhabit! There's plenty on HOL who are changing the world by influencing people. 🙂
'Benevolent' to whom?
Those who agree, of course. And what do dictators do to those who oppose?
T0 which, no doubt there'll be a chorus, on here, of "Two-tier Trump" Lol.Trump will find a way of doing whatever he wants! Look at the coverage of the inauguration 4 years ago and his attempted overturn of democracy - two weeks time all the offenders ( except the biggest) will be streaming out of prison and down to Florida. There is no limit to what he will try now!
Along with the killing militia, murder (the 'disappeared') and torture? You don't like dictators?
I didn't hear you complaining when some guy got sent to jail for 20 months for a Facebook post the government doesn't like.
Along with the killing militia, murder (the 'disappeared') and torture?
Oh yeah, see what you mean.
Same thing really.
He'd never settle for that. He's bound to have more tiers than a Kardashian wedding cake. And they'd all be the greatest tiers in the universe.T0 which, no doubt there'll be a chorus, on here, of "Two-tier Trump" Lol.
No?
Thought not.
So biased haha
But would they be greater than Ken Dodd’s Tiers for Souvenirs? He'd never settle for that. He's bound to have more tiers than a Kardashian wedding cake. And they'd all be the greatest tiers in the universe.
Be very careful what you write.Oh dear!
Here comes the other Pakistani rape gang apologist.
They'd be Tiers for Fears and he probably does actually want to rule the world. But would they be greater than Ken Dodd’s Tiers for Souvenirs?
All while sowing his seeds of love. They'd be Tiers for Fears and he probably does actually want to rule the world.
That's an image that won't fade any time soon. All while sowing his seeds of love.
A curt reply. That's an image that won't fade any time soon.
We do indeed. Pinochet and Thatcher at a tea party. Nice.Again, you didn't condemn it.
As for me, I said 'benevolent ' I didn't speak to actions the CIA do.
We support dictators all around the world who do that same thing.
That's my point. We do indeed. Pinochet and Thatcher at a tea party. Nice.
But all governments, left and right, connive with murderous thugs if it is expedient to do so, don't they.
But I am interesting enough for you to indulge in a post about.I am not sure what I find most interesting. Either someone can write the factually barren, conspiratorial, unhinged nonsense that Cryst regularly posts, or that you indulge him with a reply?
BTW, Musk is shaping up nicely as the best Bond villain since Murdoch.
Over the horizon indeed !!!I suppose although he is over the horizon on this he is more realistic on others, certainly in comparison to some here. For instance he accepted the benefit of the Covid vaccines which many rejected on principle.
Only today I too imagined Musk being cast in a Bond film. An evil genius who started well but let power go to his head.
