Marc Guéhi

What a class act he is. Whatever happens next the way he’s played and captained us is absolutely brilliant
Yep he is that and if that’s he’s parting gift - what a way to sign off..!!

Just the consummate professional..!!

Really hoping he stays - come on Marc - we love you..!!

COYP..!!

It would be very strange to risk a player the day before the window shuts if we wanted him out the door.

Anything can happen in football, but unless Liverpool come up with a massive offer, I think he stays.

If MG is sold tomorrow Glasner will be the next Man Utd manager and use it as a reason not to extend his contract, lack of ambition etc. I would not sell MG even if he runs down his contract. If the season starts well he might be persuaded to stay, although unlikely. I was not as disappointed with Eze leaving as he was 28 this season, inconsistent and we got a good sum for him. Sad to see him go, but we need the money. Give MG and Glasner all the cash they want for 5 year contracts, 100 million release clause. Everyone has a price.

The ONLY person this doesn’t suit is Parish.

I can’t be the only one thinking Guehi must realise he’s young & the seasons well underway, he has to stay fit between September and May 2026 and he gets his dream move to whichever club he wants with a signing on fee of 20mil.

The reason the Manager wants to keep him is obvious.

So Parish squirming about a lost 30m doesn’t sit well with me. And maybe he needs to ask the new Billionaire investor why it matters? Could we maybe have £30m from the Billionaire who owns 25% and hasn’t been to a game or spent a penny, meaning we literally haven’t lost a thing when Marc walks away for free.

Pre match a few of us in the train agreed we’d take the £40m on offer and move on. After that performance, I’m fullluck with Glasner. He simply cannot be sold! It’s the stuff he does that can never be seen on TV. The way he controls the back 5, his 1st touch every time is spot on and turns out he finish can from range as well.

One last chance SP. Throw him £150k a week if that’s what it takes. Bloke is a few injuries/ withdrawals from being England captain.

That’s like crying that your house cost 2-3 times what it is worth in payments at the end of the mortgage. Each monthly payment is accepted over all the years though.
Honestly I haven’t got a clue what you are on about.

Next season Guehi goes on a free. This season we could get circa £40m for him therefore the opportunity cost of having him play for one season is £40m or £770,000 per week. Do you seriously think that represents value for money for one player when we could replace him with someone on a 5 year contract for less?
