Loaned-Out Players

From time to time I look to see how Whitworth is doing. League 1 were playing during during the international break, and I noted that Exeter were without three players on international duty. Good to know that he is holding his own in good company.

JRS has just scored to put Sheff Utd 2-1 up away to Coventry. On the left & with his left foot across the 'keeper & bottom right.

On another note, Edouard is not even in Leicester's squad today & is not listed as injured.

Patson Daka back so Edouard now the 4th or 5th option for Leicester.

Maybe in January he could drop back to league one and get some game time?

For a short while, his loan looked like it was one of the few positives from the poor window. But, I believe, we had to extend his contract so we could still sell him next summer. He won't fetch a can of beans now, though

Doesn’t seem to have covered himself in glory to put it mildly

Any chance of a recall in January - he would surely walk into our team at the moment?
We can recall him but I'm not sure that is the right thing to do.

Wilder is starting him for about 60 mins then subbing him most games. However I doubt he would get that at Palace more likely coming on at 70 minutes for a cameo.

I would leave him there for this season he is clearly enjoying his football and learning.

Whats the best thing to do. Let him stay there and develop.

Or bring him home?

At this precise moment he'd get games, but will he when Eze is back? And if he does it's going to be a few here and there, either to give Eze a rest or as a plan B.

If you look at our bench in recent times, he is a must for returning in January. He would also have got starting game time with injuries this season as well. I say bring him back, the squad needs him. That’s unless we have players/player coming in this January window for his position. I would also say Edouard was needed on the bench with Nketia out as Mateta has looked knackered after 60/70 minutes of our matches

I would be surprised if Leicester don't send Eddie back to us. Not exactly been a successful loan.

no, and as pssguy mentioned, we (probably correctly) extended his contract.

So instead of being rid of him in the summer, we're going to have to pay him for another year
