Kamada

It may be a sweeping generalisation but Japanese people do tend to be respectful and modest.
When I was working in London during my younger days; I had to visit a potential Japanese client.

My boss had told me about how the Japanese love to exchange business cards - also he told me to bow instead of shaking hands.

I did all the said cultural things correctly, except at the end of the meeting, one of the younger Japanese guys decides to shake my hand as I was bowing. Lol.

My main worry with Kamada is that, with him leaving at the end of the season , there can no longer be pages of debate on here as to whether he's any good or not?
I suppose Johnson could replace him.as the subject of the debate, but most seem.to have already concluded that he's no good.
Pino could be a possibility, but if he stars for Spain in the World Cup, then surely there's little room for this type of debate.
Perhaps the best option is to retain Esse, who has previously shown real potential to fill pages in the debate of whether he's any good or not.

Completely different players who do not and probably cannot occupy the role that Kamada fills.

If a Japanese presents you with a business card one should show respect by momentarily reading it before placing it in one's wallet etc.
Apropos 'Bowing', a deeper bow of extended duration indicates greater respect.

I might have done all that; but it was the best part of 30 years ago.

With my back now, bowing deeply is off limits.

Fear not. I for one would be happy enough to carry on debating whether Kamada is any good next season!

Seriously, it will be interesting to see what becomes of him.

He's played well recently, far better than at any time previously. I wonder if he's finally adapting to the premier league, is actually not really adapted to it and is just benefiting from less physically intense opposition in Europe, where he had played his best football for us, or is simply getting his finger out as he's in the shop window again for a big free transfer move.

I don't actually care which it is so long as he keeps playing well, but will be interested to see if next season provides more context.
