Kamada

He's a japan international and premier league player, so he's obviously capable of having great games but its all relative, compared to the rest of the world, he's world class, compared to his peers, id still class him as average and a position you could improve on but he's an exceptional squad player for a club of our size.

BTW he was my motm last night.

Kamada Talks Offer Encouragement

There also appears to be renewed optimism surrounding Daichi Kamada.

The Japan international had looked likely to leave when his contract expires, yet reports indicate he is keen to remain in London. Palace are hopeful that discussions can lead to a fresh agreement, providing continuity in a squad that has gained momentum over the past year.

Certainly, in his first season for us, I thought he was rubbish. Lightweight, negative and far too easily dispossessed. Glasner seemed relentless in his support of him, continuing to favour him even after some dreadful performances, which I could never understand. I had given up on him.
But credit where it’s due, because from the latter part of last season into this one, he’s been superb. He’s become a real asset to the team, and his name should have been one of the first on the team sheet last night. Absolutely outstanding, also my MOTM without a doubt! 👏🦅

Having been one of his detractors up until now, I admit he’s excelling a lot more in a more advanced position. Attacking was always more of a strength vs defending - so it’s great Sage has identified that. Still personally think Sarr and Pino are more talented players - but Kamada is certainly performing well this season as a 10 - long may it continue.

It's all about balance rather than talent. If you have players that work well together . it will out way a single talented player who may not match the set up , But sarr was off the pace but thats because he is just trying to get up to speed . Kamada has shown why OG wanted him . With Wharton Timber and Kamada on the pitch we maybe able to play Sarr as a 9 . Which will give us more options
