I'd say that destroying entire cities simply to demoralise the enemy is probably worse than what is happening now, because Hamas hide among civilians on purpose.

Demoralising enemies who still possess immense capacity to inflict harm on you and others with the ultimate aim of saving lives can be defended. This cannot.

A whole million quid multi year deal. And it definitely won't be anything used for killing. It's a shame it's not higher, we have good kit to export. And Israel are important partners, for example the Sky Sabre defence system for the British Army uses the "Battle Management and Command Control System" from Israeli arms company Rafael and this is what Iron Dome also uses.

I expect Steeley would be over the moon if we armed Hamas of course, let them get stuck into the Jews

It's not anything like Auschwitz, Belson, Dachau, and the other real centres of genocide.
 
I see the news media is awash with reports that the “first stage” of the “Peace Deal” has been agreed between Israel and Hamas and expected to be implemented on Monday. Accompanied by encouraging statements from world leaders and scenes of joy in Israel and Gaza.

I would love to be proved wrong, and regret being cynical, but I suspect this is bs and won’t happen.

It’s not a deal at all. It’s 3 separate announcements. One each from Israel and Hamas which say and expect different things and another from Trump claiming it’s a deal because the Peace Prize announcement is due tomorrow.

Trump is so naive he doesn’t even understand what the Peace Prize is given for these days or that the nominations needed to be in by 31st January. The decision isn’t taken tomorrow. It’s announced tomorrow. So unless they try to reward endeavour it seems very unlikely he would have been even seriously considered.

So as soon as tomorrow is over I anticipate that those scenes of joy will be replaced by more destruction and counter claims of blame. I really hope I am wrong.
