Israel v Hamas

How can those countries be destabilised? So where should they go if they need to be relocated? Where is more suited than Egypt and Jordan?

How about a new state in the USA as you suggested where Israel should have been created?
Why should they go anywhere if they don’t want to?

Jordan struggles already with the 2 million refugees it has. Egypt is concerned about introducing so many with ties to Iran.

The USA would find room for the Israeli Jews. Not so the Arabs. Unfortunate fact of life.

The solution isn’t easy but a forced relocation isn’t it.

The ECHR at its best!
It is a temporary Ukrainian scheme which has now been taken advantage of by the leftie Judges - watch the floodgates from all parts of the world start trying it and watch Labour welcome them with open arms.
This is the man - Appointment as a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum: Norton-Taylor - Courts and Tribunals Judiciary
Who knows whether Hamas will now be setting up in the UK.
At least the Home Office tried to do the right thing.
It is up to Starmer to sort this out but he won't!
This a decision by a judge rewriting the intension of a law. He has used what the law doesn't say to decide what it should mean. It's like saying that God exists because you can't prove he doesn't.
This is something that could means that practically anyone could come to Britain.

We are a point in history where the easily predictable surge in global migrations has begun. This is the time where nation states must take responsability for their own borders. Their governments cannot allow human rights worshipping judges and lawyers to dictate policy.

Anyone who is slow to act on this will become the No1 prefered destination for the waifs and strays of the world and anyone else who fancies moving to another country.

Leaving the ECHR would be a good start.

Netanyahu lies almost as much as Trump. Judge by actions not the words which spill from mouths full of forked tongues.

Netanyahu, and especially the orthodox right settlers who prop him up, are now expressing support for Trump’s crazy idea. Is this true, or are they just playing him?

It’s been clear for years that there is an element in Israel that wants to oust the Arab populations in both Gaza and the West Bank. Unfortunately they currently control the government.

Yes, take your own advice and judge by the actions of Israel, not words!

I'm obviously referring to the Palestinian people who want to (or have to) leave.

Many Arab countries took in Palestinians in the past and they caused a lot of trouble, so they don't want a repeat. It was before I was born but I'm sure you remember, Black September in 1970 when the Palestinians caused major conflict with Jordan and tried to assassinate King Hussein. The idea of brotherhood amongst Muslims is a load of tosh – they only agree on one thing – hatred of Jews.

Despite this, I find it odd that people like you would be happy for Palestinians to be relocated (short or long term) to the UK. What could possibly go wrong?

I think I missed it... When did they say this?

Don't be so naive.

Have you seen what Gaza looks like now, it's a complete bomb site. Who did that? And if course Hamas has reiterated that Oct 7th was a good thing and they would repeat it whenever possible.

So the two sides are about as far apart as they were almost 18 months ago.

Whilst i don't agree with Trump's suggestions and cannot see this ever happening the 2 state solution seems dead so at least someone is offering an alternative, albeit a misguided one after only speaking to one side.

We could be entering a major folk in this near eighty year conflict......Once the bombs, shells and bullets restart the Arabs are left with hardly any wiggle room. Essentially it's fight or bend the knee.....maybe they could continue to look the other way but that's going to be difficult.

Trump says he's going to take over Gaza (I think we all know what happens then) but only after the Israelis have finished fighting and presumably moving the remaining Palestinians out...that means killing a hell of lot more than 50 thousand.....where would they send them? The Sinai? Shipping them off to Madagascar? (I'm being sarcastic but oh wouldn't that be ironic) Don't know but I can't for the life of me see Jordan or Egypt officially accepting them.

We are but onlookers but whatever happens, whatever the rights and wrongs, we could be witnessing the start of real history here.

It died with Rabin.

I do, as do most others.

The actions of the “settlers” in violently trying to occupy land that is not theirs is a major reason for the problems. The Israeli government tolerates this.

The actions of their military in response to the atrocities carried out by Hamas has resulted in huge loss of life of innocent civilians, women and children predominantly.

There is a lack of action in trying to reach a negotiated settlement which respects the rights of others.

I am happy for any peace loving person in need of help to be relocated here. I am not though happy to accept anyone who is a terrorist or likely to become one.

So allowing them to remain where they want to be and then ensuring they keep the peace is by far the best option. Making sure they are prosperous and happy would go a long way to achieving that. You don’t want to fight when you have a nice home and family to lose.

Should be Hamas v Israel in which case I am going for an away win. Hamas will start fast but then Israel will have virtually all of the possession

Thousands still committed to the cause of the destruction of Israel and the end of all Jews.

Clearly still plenty of post hostage military clear up to be done.

It is worse than you could imagine! I have no words but I’m sure someone in Leeds is celebrating. The pictures of these children have been covered in graffiti at Harvard, there really is some scum around the world

Yep it's disgusting Spider, anyone who celebrates the death of the innocent makes me sick.....children even more.

Jews in Europe need protection, and worryingly the problem seems to be raising its head in the US.
