What land was stolen? There has never been a Palestinian country.

There had never been an Israel either both Israel and Palestine are terms that were selected to describe the different loyalties of the people there.....Israel meaning 'god's chosen people' in the bible.

If it's not Palestinian land then how can it be stolen as the previous poster said? He never said what bit of land either, just parroting sound bytes. Ukraine is a sovereign state that is having land stolen.

As both parties have claims then who owns the land is a contested issue. Something that is obviously at the root of all the problems. One side believes it has been stolen. The other doesn’t. So there is no answer. Only opinions.

If you want my personal opinion on that I'm not someone who respects ideas like 'sovereign states', which I regard as a nonsense idea used by liberals in the west...and also ignored by liberals in the west when convenient....Iraqi was a sovereign state as was Syria.....No one gives a monkey's about states they don't like.

Land is won by those willing to fight and die for it in large enough numbers to hold it. You win the war, that's your land....that's how all borders are decided.

That's it.....On current trends England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland will be lost to its peoples because their elites lost the connection between their ethnicity and land.....blood and soil as it were. Their ancestors were great and what took centuries to build is being given away by their descendants....Well, there's more to that but hey.

Both the Israelis and Palestinians very much haven't lost that connection......But the semites called the Palestinians never left that land, while most Israeli Jews came from Eastern Europe and Russia less than 150 years ago as the Romans had thrown them out....and they are just as European as semitic.

But what you won't fight and be prepared to die for you will eventually lose.....it's a lesson history never tires of telling.

Yes, if the Arabs won't fight in large enough numbers for their land and don't make powerful friends then that's what happens, one set of people get to take their resources and live happy lives and they don't.

In the 1948 Arab–Israeli War the Arabs significantly outnumbered the Jews in men and equipment, but they were defeated (the Jews were intelligent enough to make powerful friends like the US, whereas the Arabs didn't). This picture was played out in the following wars,. as Israel expanded.

Can you imagine what would have happened to those Jews if they had lost in 48? Just as bad as stuff as the Jews did to them, they would have been hanging from lamp-posts, child, woman and man.
I know the history and I don't defend it, hundreds of thousands of people were thrown off their land and tens of thousands killed. it's what happens when land is contested and it's you or them.

Israeli terrorist groups also killed over 800 British service men to kick us out, unlike our fickle government I haven't forgotten that......leaders of those terrorist groups then made it into high positions of the Israeli government, remembered as heros to this day.....So this isn't me defending Israel because I think they have some moral case or are our friends.

I say it because this is how the real world works.

Finger wagging and protests about fairness or all the rest of it don't mean nothing if you don't have millions of young men ready to fill graveyards to win.

However, it's never fair or just, whenever some outsider comes and kills and takes, but.....I don't know about you but that's been human history since year dot. All of a sudden everyone is surprised?

If two sets of people claim some land then there is only going to be one winner......Social liberals want to believe in a fantasy land because they have never had to actually fight for anything.....Mainly because non social liberals gave them the nice soft life by doing all the fighting and struggling in the past.
