Poland have been shagged hard multiple times by larger neighbours, especially in living memory. The Poles aren't letting this happen again, they are powerful and are fast becoming the most powerful in Europe.

Russia has a long history of suffering invasion and seeking protection through buffer client states. Talk of taking Ukraine and continuing the march into Poland are exaggerations.

Which is exactly what Putin wants you to think and seemingly has also convinced Trump is true.

You can no more trust Putin than Trump. The only way to deal with Putin is ensure that the cost of any further adventure outweighs any benefit. Trump is easier. You just flatter him. Or bribe him.

He has done harm/good/harm/good in Ukraine and Putin has largely played him. Again, let us see in time...

I'd say all that is true.

What I'd also say is that we have no business in Ukraine.....and it's all very corrupt and very murky in my view. If we had Russia in our border country we wouldn't tolerate that either.

An extremely avoidable war that puts us all in danger without need.....and I resent my sky high energy bill, which ultimately I blame on US state department policy.

Pretty much this. Putin is without redemption, talking up NATO membership for Ukraine gave him an excuse the Russian public would buy into for invasion.

Now we have a likely sick, power mad Putin intent on his legacy being an expanded Russia
