Is the club defrauding loyal supporters?

Agree £54.00 for each match is a little high. Two tier prices could be useful to local people committed to Palace. Perhaps points held could lead to a discount - the club (Box Office) should be able to identify newer supporters progressing towards regular attendance.
it's not a little high, it's extortionate, max £45 to sit in the Arthur, Whitehorse or Main Stand - each stand is either shoddy with pillar obstructions or has a poor over-low view. And as a not unrelated point, there must be a way to prevent the resale of unused season tickets - it wouldn't take a tech expert to find a way to make the tickets available at a standard price. A click of a button and the season ticket holder gets a fiver for vacating the seat, the seat gets bought, everybody wins: season ticket holder, club and the buyer of the newly available ticket.

Agree. With touting now off site (Ticketmaster and others doing reselling) the days of someone asking people if they have spare tickets at Selhurst park are in the past. The Box Office should be allowed to trade in "second hand tickets" at least until touts get wise - perhaps at selected times, the day before the match, or similar slots. A few stewards (backed by Police) on match days saying "hello" to people who appear to be offering tickets could be useful both to the club and local supporters.

Yesterday, at the main stand, the brick entrance ( not the one with the big white banner on it) whilst we were waiting for the issue with not enough stewards to be sorted, circa 12.20 ish, a lady arrived who had clearly not used digital tickets before, she had downloaded 7 tickets onto her phone for the people in her group & had to enter each person in turn by handing the phone back through the turnstile for the next one to enter, I didnt get chance to ask her where she got the tickets but it seemed a tad unlikely that she could have got 7 tickets in the main stand area directly from the club, Also just to mention there were a lot of new faces in the family bar before the game.

Me and my lad were sat in the AW yesterday - Block X, Row 22, Seats 182 & 183. We had three empty seats to our left and NINE empty seats all next to each other to our right! At the beginning of the second half a group of six people (Foreign speaking Europeans - Albanian or similar appearance) came and sat in the vacant seats to our right. Did not celebrate any of the goals and did not partake in any of the singing.

Apart from ticketing, we had a miserable experience at the Stockport game. Had to queue from 2.40 to 3.25 for Gate 7, missed most of the first half because of turnstile problems. When I complained, the club seemed fairly relaxed, said they would look into it (haven't come back with any explanation) and offered measly £10 credit for a ruined day.

There were quite a few spare tickets being offered on various forums for yesterday's game and someone had also posted that there were lots showing on the official website. We haven't bothered renewing our memberships this season due to the ticketing issues. Went online Sunday morning and the official site still would only sell to members (so we would need two memberships to purchase) - needless to say didn't bother.

Watching on TV and 30mins in Mrs switched to the Spurs game as it sounded more exciting - (there hadn't been a shot in the palace game) - Mrs was originally a Spurs supporter but living in Croydon we started going to Palace many, many years ago - didn't go to many games last season due to other football commitments with kids and haven't been to any this season due to ticket issues.

Unfortunately, at the moment we're not really missing it - and I think it's going to be difficult to get the enthusiasm back.

My experience of the Arthur every time now

Looking at the empty seats yesterday I do hope the traders that purchased them took a good financial soaking. Maybe a few miserable days like yesterday will curb their enthusiasm for the quick buck!

I looked around yesterday and thought I wonder how many ‘fans’ paid well over the odds to get soaked watching that classic premier league fixture palace v Brentford
Serves them right 🤣
