Interesting (?) Political stuff...

Is it democratic was the Question.
Does that need context ?
And the answer is that if an election has been found to have been significantly interfered with by a foreign power - in this case Russia which is well known for such behaviour - then it is undemocratic. The decision, of course, was made by the highest court in Romania.

Do you disagree with their decision and, if so, why? Perhaps you can provide alternative evidence to what the court found?

If the EU don't like the outcome again? Another cancelled election?

All eyes on Germany and France now aswell as the EU looks like it's collapsing.
The EU will ensure free and fair elections whether they like the result or not; do your remember outcomes in Poland and Hungary in recent years that were hardly supportive of the EU and its core principles?

The collapse of the EU has been predicted many times - remember after Brexit? However, it usually emerges stronger and so many countries are keen to join - especially for the economic benefits.

The Mercosur deal, in conjunction with the French and German fake coalitions collapsing are a major threat. I'm surprised they haven't courted Starmer as Germany and France are on a collision course. Once that happens, it's game over for the EU.
A right wing coalition would be the outcome in France, literally all they have to do is say they won't accept the trade deal. Germany is a different story - economy been failing for years now. Huge energy costs and internal and external security threats. Add in failing motor industry and Germany is in trouble. Probably some kind of radical government incoming, maybe left wing which will be highly unusual for them.
All in all, as I say, the Mercosur Deal will be real trouble. The EU acting like a sovereign state, which they are not. To put it in a nutshell, Europe will import all the sh1tty "farm produce" (beef, poultry) from South America but get the right to sell (German) cars in South America tariff free. Ireland will be f***ed over by it but are too small to stop it. Plus the government are lackeys. However, clearly, the French will see that as f***ing over French farmers to bail out German car makers. We all know what the farmers will do. It won't be the farmer's party like in Holland. It will be more like bonfire night.
Look into the Mercosur Deal - it's a recipe for disaster.

Of course some poorer countries want to join to get money from the richer countries - you know, the mugs like we were.

He mentioned it recently in a post. Some just can’t let it go and with WE it’s Brexit, trump, immigration and 10 bags 😂
I know I shouldn't but...

But but but, Boris the bad who robbed him of his 10k has not been PM now for 2 years. I thought the great establishment believer was happy that the civil service was professional and full of hard working impartial people and with a new government justice would be done and he would get his 10k back.

Only idiots pay unfair fines. Take the prison time instead. They're not going to lock you up these days. If they try their bailiff sh1t then sign everything over to someone else or tell your doctor you're mentally ill (a little known opt out). You can reach me for legal advice on Reddit or Quora.

Leader of the Irish Farmer's Union recently made an interesting point. The EU is adding more and more red tape and higher standards for Irish (EU) farmers at the same time whilst negotiating a Latin American deal that will allow their farmers with much lower quality controls access to the EU market?

Exporting millions of tons of meat from Latin America to the Europe is hardly good for the environment is it?

I know the same can be said of the UK as well, I just thought it an interesting point that politicians are becoming schizophrenic about this.

This is going to cause EU pushback even in exemplary lackey Ireland.

If they're so expert at ensuring freedom and fairness in elections then how did Russia influence this one so much?

Frankly I was only going fishing and got a whopping bite 😂

They're not expert at anything except justifying their own existence. They're not even that good at that. They're quite good at committees, quangos and cronyism. Probably not quite as expert as the Irish government.

Mmmmmmmm - Argentinian Corned Beef - stuff of my childhood 😋

As I am sure you will have read, it was apparently mainly via Tik Tok; the behaviour was then picked up by the Romanian authorities leading to the court judgement.

To be honest I haven't been following the story. It'll be interesting to see what happens with TikTok in America - Trump isn't as anti- as the Democrats for some reason.

Nine tory mps have joined Reform the mps jostling to leave are gaining pace since Badenoch became the shadow Prime Minister. In the struggle to save electricity let us hope the last one to go turns out the lights. If the Elon Musk money materializes the next election may see a far better opposition than that we laugh at at the moment.Reform may be very effective.
