Immigration

We're infested, and they know they can get in because of traitors like these

So called Sanctuary cities. Just a euphemism for not obeying the laws. Any council that wilfully ignores the laws should be punished by that I mean the key players, if they are elected councillors they should be disbarred, if council officials sacked.

We all have to put up with laws we don't like but that does not give people the right, even elected officials to go against them. If you don't like it campaign, go to court, petition etc.

That boat must be crowded.

ISIS, Russian and Chinese infiltrators, Iranian spies plus the usual criminals and sex offenders.

Okay hands up who on this boat is not one of those and is a genuine asylum seeker?

Anyone? Anyone? Last call 😀
Tough gig being on the shore patrol for that crew.

Six months for an illegal knocking a girl out unconscious because she refused his advances on the street.

And this same state put a woman in jail for 18 months for a hurty tweet.

This thread needs to be renamed!

This is not about immigration. This is focussed exclusively on illegal immigration, primarily that across the Straits of Dover by those posing as asylum seekers. Which is something there is broad agreement over, even if the methods to achieve the aims isn’t shared.

We need to separate legal, desirable and planned immigration from it because to lump immigration into one category doesn’t serve well. It confuses, obscures and ostracises.

Not really. For instance, I legally get a visa to Australia, I don't live up to my visa conditions, I get deported. Why not in our countries? It's because we have an agenda. Or we're just incompetent. We don't deport the people we're supposed to, legally, deport. Getting deported is about as likely as winning the lottery.

And in the Australian case, it wouldn't just be the heinous crimes committed by some here. And still not deported. It would be claiming benefits, becoming a burden to society - any of the things that will basically cost the Australian tax payer money.
