So this government has now put a pause (keyword pause) on asylum seekers bringing their families to this country. Oh joy they've finally worked out that the family send the young male and once he get's a home run he sends for his family and grandparents etc.

I thought that was the poor immigration news story of the day but it gets worse. The government will now tell students that their visa is due to expire and they must leave. Considering that tens of thousands are over staying and then claiming asylum and only now is the government sending them a text.

That'll put the wind up the students I can see them packing their bags right now, "Oh no a text I must flee the country. "

And you have to ask the question why now? Why the hell weren't the Tories doing this ?

It's pathetic.

I owned a care home that specialised in it and I raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. I am extremely grateful not to be suffering from it. Yet!

When counter protesters have to be bussed in then that tells me all I need to know. Listen to the protesters being interviewed and that tells me they are local. Sure, some may join in from outside but they don’t all come with their pre-manufactured placards like the counter protesters. One is a spontaneous objection to something the counter protesters are more like a tour of potential flashpoints; they probably have tee shirts with tour dates on the back.
You don’t have to suffer from dementia to be confused; the natural aging process makes it difficult sometimes to differentiate between the truth and propaganda.

When events like this become subject to national, and international, attention then political activists get involved. From both sides of an argument. So whilst some on both sides would have been local, I would wager most weren’t. Whether they arrived by bus, train or bike seems pretty irrelevant.

Aging is a diverse process that doesn’t affect people equally. Some much younger than me show very many more obvious signs than I do. I could provide evidence as to why I am one of the lucky ones, but as it’s very personal I won’t.

I think you will find that there is rather more done than just this already and this is simply a response to try to placate the anger. Universities are given the responsibility of ensuring their overseas students exit the country when their visas expire.

Some may stay longer than the 30 days permitted, or try to get work and another visa, but the vast majority will go home to see their families. Once they do they won’t be readmitted on an expired visa.

Of course there isn’t more done, there hasn’t been for years. We used to be able to identify overstayers on departure ( if they left) but embarkation control was removed to cut costs. So when they leave University you honestly believe that Universities know where they are? Laughable. It is hilarious ( and a bit sad) that you honestly believe what you write. Believe me, you are way of the mark

Your first paragraph; I would wager that most of the protesters walked there and that all the counter protestors didn’t.

As for your personal reasons for being so ‘young’ for your age; drinking virgin’s blood?!

I think that matters to him more than whether he believes anything he writes, who knows for sure....No doubt he believes some of it.

The government didn't even know that 1.5m EU citizens were here legally and not hiding so how does anyone expect them to be able to track visa over stayers. The only time they do is when those people apply for asylum which they are currently doing in record numbers.
