Grooming gangs

Labour not going ahead with the inquiries promised by Yvette Cooper to be happening by Easter. Jess Phnilips just kicking the can down the road. No surprise, Labour puts muslim votes and the protection of people who enabled this national disgrace as more important than the
victims, past, present and future

Labour announced this in the last 30 mins of Parliament yesterday, just before it closes down for a few weeks I believe.
They are a disgrace but the Tories could and should have done this properly a long while ago.
The local councils involved have too much self interest here as well and so - as stated by another poster - they are protecting Muslims and Labour Councillors.
In a civilised Country this is utterly vile and abhorrent.
I also note that I can find nothing about this on the BBC website, although I am happy to be corrected on that one!

Kicking the can down the road for rape victims is a disgrace.
Delaying the compensation for contaminated blood victims.
Delaying compensation for the wrongly convicted Postmasters.
Not lifting a finger to stop illegal immigration.

regarding the Gooming gangs......we see apathy, inaction, lackadaisical inertia, silence, etc......except whenever there is a whiff of local community vigilantism.....and then whooosh, do you get a million uniforms all springing into action ?

Needs an mps kid to be groomed or wife to be raped or boy stabbed before it comes to being an issue.
What a total cluster f*** of a country we are living in now !

Read this and I defy anyone to say enquiries/reports in the past have not been surpressed due to possible racial tensions.
The watering down of promised reports show this is still at the forefront of their thinking, as well as votes, to hell with the abused White Girls.

We all know what is going on here.

Race relations, protecting Labour councillors, votes and preventing the public from learning the full gory details of what went on, presumably to avoid public disorder.

The sooner we get rid of Starmer and vote for Reform the better. The Tories had their chance.

i beg to disagree with you there Eagle. The Tories had hundreds of chances (to fix things). And ignored all of them. Even as the public clamor became deafening. Even after a ton of evidence had already gone public and scandalised the nation.

Pedantic but true.

I was referring to their tenure in general, but yes they were useless on many occasions.
All the time more than half their party are liberals in disguise, I shan't be voting for them.

Sadly, people voted for a far worse option just to get rid of them.

No they were never liberal, they did whatever they could to remain in power in order to further line their pockets and those of the wealthiest.

I fear reform because they won't fix the issue but will shaft what remains of our crumbling system, nothing will increase the wealth gap faster, and they'll use your emotions to get there.

Fascism always arrives as your friend with solutions

Note the provocative language used to describe TR/SYL. Far-Right Anti-Islam

The only derogatory words I've heard Tommy Robinson use, were directed at Child-abusers, who happened to be Asian. And those who concealed the crimes.

Aww poor little diddums. Maybe he should have thought about that before committing multiple crimes and breaching multiple court orders.

And if you think that last sentence is true, you really haven't been paying attention.
