Glasner Out

Pretty obvious again. Semenyo signed a new long term contract with Bournemouth in July 2025 extending his deal to 2030. So they could have sold him in the summer for the same money. Last chance to get anything for Marc
Obvious?
Semenyo could have broken his leg badly, done his Achilles or ACL and been out for 2 years like Doucoure, long term contract or not.
It was a risk whichever way you look at it.
I’m not seeking to persuade you otherwise as you clearly think it was the right decision which is fair enough.

It is fair to say our squad lacks depth and at some point our form would dip. I agree with you there. I didn’t expect us to be taking 15 points from the last 7 league games or anything like that. It was never going to be easy and in that it is fair to say OG can’t be expected to have maintained the same form.

Nor did I expect us to only take 2 points. That’s just not good enough and during that time OG has shown he doesn’t have a plan B.

We also surely had enough to beat a team of semi pros instead we were out competed and deservedly beaten.

So yes the squad lacks depth but OG is seeking to create a narrative that it’s all about transfers, while chucking the squad players under the bus by telling them they are rubbish.
I would have taken the 2 points better and understood it with players out and number of games played if he hadn’t blown the non points games of KUPS and Macclesfield with team selections. Those results and humiliation for us fans last week are plainly down to him. Plus, yesterday not making any substitutions and then his outburst was completely out of order!

I made roast Duck ,roast pots , parsnip fried in butter , Caramelised carrots , broc&cali with herbs . and home made orange sauce , im on the chill down strange I shutdown at four and listen to music 😍

You've done well. Better than me. I got distracted on the par boiling the potatoes for the roasties so looks like we are having mash.

If we go back to the soundbites and quotes of the plan and goals for Ollie when he joined...

If we can find those quotes, as I recall it being positive, moving up the ladder, trying to achieve that next level... AI summarized Parish.

Steve Parish's Quotes
Steve Parish highlighted Glasner's "outstanding record" and believed he was the right manager for the club at a pivotal stage. Parish noted Glasner's history of achieving quick success wherever he has managed. He also stated that Glasner's ambition and "exciting and attacking approach" were a perfect fit for the squad. Parish mentioned his decision was based on a desire to change the playing style and that Glasner was the right person to do it.

You gotta ask, in that time, did the board align itself with this?

A pivotal stage - we sold Olise, Anderson, Eze, Guehi.

Replaced with Lacroix, Riad, Kamada, Wharton, Pinot, Sosa, Canvot, Johnson.

A couple of gambles, a couple of gems...a couple of duds

Your skills are better than mine.
