Glasner Out

Yes I imagine if he could do that interview again now he would not have said what he did. I often think its a bit unfair to shove a mic in a manager,s face 5 minutes after a defeat. How do we all expect them to react? they're human
I don’t know. I think it was calculated. He said the same thing in different interviews yesterday. It wasn’t just a spur of the moment emotional reaction.

I genuinely didn't hear him say that, but I'm not saying you're making it up
For what it's worth, if he did say that and was referring to players on the bench, I agree with him
He shouldn't say it in public though.
Ok fair. He didn’t use those exact words. You are right on that. It was heavily implied in his remarks though as I heard them but I accept it is open to interpretation.

Where is the evidence that OG isn’t involved in transfers? Do you think Lacroix and Kamada would have joined without OG recommending them? Apparently him talking to Johnson was part of the process in Johnson joining us for a club record fee.

Do you think any Premier League club would involve their manager in negotiating terms with a buying club when they are selling a player?
If we take him at his word, he had no idea it was happening until 10am the same day.

If you are involved in the negotiations, how can that be possible?

Yes, most premier league clubs usually they do involve the manager in the negotiation, even to this day. It’s not so long ago the manager used to facilitate the entire negotiation on his own.

Didn't stop Semenyo playing until the last minute for Bournemouth and indeed scoring the winner and giving a MOM performance in his last game.
Why is it ok for Semenyo but not for Guehi?
Furthermore, if clubs routinely left out players due to move during transfer windows it would be a very strange set of affairs.

Pretty obvious again. Semenyo signed a new long term contract with Bournemouth in July 2025 extending his deal to 2030. So they could have sold him in the summer for the same money. Last chance to get anything for Marc

His team on a bad run of form.
Pent-up frustration regarding the 'Windows'.
His team had just been defeated to make it no wins in 10 games
Interviewed when emotions running high.
that says to me no self control , I loved management like that spit there dummy out but wouldn't look at there part in failure ,then when told that was the issue and not make adjustments ,
was Glasner told
A. we will strength the squad or B. we only have 60m to play with to strength the squad , at his interview ,
im sure parish didnt say we had 120m to spend on the squad each window or season , Ive really lost faith in glasner , he is acting like a spoilt child , if he really loved the club for what we are he would have got on with the job and also committed , Roy done best for the club , Coppell to , since them two its whats best for them , sad indictment of todays football

I can well believe he wasn’t told about an outgoing player until a transfer offer had been made and accepted. Even then though he himself had said he knew Guhei would go this window if the fee was right so he knew Guehi could go hence he must have discussed it with the board. So involved.

He was also very heavily involved in whether Guehi left in the summer because Parish didn’t sell him on Glasner’s insistence.

I find it hard to believe Premier League managers are regularly involved in the exact timing (to the hour and day) of players being sold and find it equally hard to believe they negotiate the fee and terms with buying clubs. However, if you have facts and evidence to the contrary I will happily stand corrected

And if you saw what he said on 7th January in his press conference he absolutely knew it was a possibility and absolutely knew it would happen if Palace were offered the money they wanted and Marc wanted the move.

Obvious?
Semenyo could have broken his leg badly, done his Achilles or ACL and been out for 2 years like Doucoure, long term contract or not.
It was a risk whichever way you look at it.
I’m not seeking to persuade you otherwise as you clearly think it was the right decision which is fair enough.

It is fair to say our squad lacks depth and at some point our form would dip. I agree with you there. I didn’t expect us to be taking 15 points from the last 7 league games or anything like that. It was never going to be easy and in that it is fair to say OG can’t be expected to have maintained the same form.

Nor did I expect us to only take 2 points. That’s just not good enough and during that time OG has shown he doesn’t have a plan B.

We also surely had enough to beat a team of semi pros instead we were out competed and deservedly beaten.

So yes the squad lacks depth but OG is seeking to create a narrative that it’s all about transfers, while chucking the squad players under the bus by telling them they are rubbish.
I would have taken the 2 points better and understood it with players out and number of games played if he hadn’t blown the non points games of KUPS and Macclesfield with team selections. Those results and humiliation for us fans last week are plainly down to him. Plus, yesterday not making any substitutions and then his outburst was completely out of order!

I made roast Duck ,roast pots , parsnip fried in butter , Caramelised carrots , broc&cali with herbs . and home made orange sauce , im on the chill down strange I shutdown at four and listen to music 😍

You've done well. Better than me. I got distracted on the par boiling the potatoes for the roasties so looks like we are having mash.
